Hmm. Never heard of this game before, it looks cool. I will probably pick it up when it is released. It's been awhile since I have been compelled to power up my Wii.

It's August of 2010. Quotes like that one should be a bannable offense on here by now.

@Co Other bannable offenses that should be considered:
-Referencing your wallet when you tell people you're spending money.
-Saying "rar" before your posts.
-Saying "rar" after your posts.
-Referring to the games you're currently playing when writing about a game you're not interested in.

@Co

Sorry to have hit a sore spot there. If you don't mind, can you reference me to some good Wii games you have played that I might have missed since Monster Hunter Tri and Super Mario Galaxy 2 came out? I am always looking for something to compel me.

Those two came out recently and are worth picking up.

Jett Rocket on WiiWare
Bit trip games on Wiiware (Runner recently)
Artstyle games on Wiiware (lighttrax recently)
And a few others I can't name off the top of my head (getting mixed up with DSiWare at the moment)...

As for Wii retail games, that's a loaded question - as the good-to-great games on the Wii are extremely diverse and doesn't relate to every player (Rune Factory Frontier ain't for everybody, neither is Tatsunoko VS Capcom, nor are most of the other games)... they're not all a single genre that can be recommended to a random person.

Might have something to do that most Wii retail games aren't advertised...
Nowadays it takes a subscription to Nintendo Power or a Nintendo fansite to know what interesting Wii retail games released recently.

...heck, I had no idea Arc Rise Fantasia or Sakura Wars So Long My Love were out until I picked up a Nintendo Power magazine and read the ratings for it on the back.
...both games were decent games according to reviews, but ARF was plagued by bad voice overs... I wonder if you could turn those off.

WiiWare's unique titles, on the other hand, is consistently advertised by gaming blogs. That, and people can just go to the Wii Shop channel whenever they're bored and it's shoved right in their face.

Hell Yeah! I've been waiting all year for this game. Woo-Hoo!

I know it's on PC, I want a bigger, better version.

I've been following their 'ordeal' on Facebook.
I haven't seen anything about additional content.
But you do get to flail your arms around when you play now!

I thought you just twist the Wiimote. I doubt that makes you flail your arms.

Completely agree, I got this in a special Steam were doing for an Indie pack, I think the pack was worth World of Goo but most of the other games were alright at best.

I played this with a mapped xbox 360 controller, I would shudder at playing this with motion control.

Considering the fact that this was made especially for motion control (having full 360 spins instead of the limited tilt on the PC version), it makes more sense for the Wiimote than a 360 controller.

Not saying it makes it any better as a game, but it's not that it can't be controllable (if you can do full 360 spins in Marble Saga and still land safely on a platform, I'm sure you can do the same here).

I think my hands would get way too tired having to nest it in a certain position all the time, a controller makes less sense but makes for more comfortable play.
