ex.
Winrar ppl- So you like using winrar for free huh?! well unrar these!!!! *shows a million items to unrar*
Supreme watever person- Nooooooooooooooo!
*30 min later*
Winrar ppl- Hows that unraring going?
Code Supreme Commenter- It's going rarorrible!
Winrar ppl- Excellent!

related to post - Phantasy star seems good but i still probably won't get it since it was a monthly fee for online...

@Code Supreme commenter rar, I mean, geez, you clearly stalk me over on Siliconera enough, you should know I don't post self indulgent one liner dribble like this omo;; I'm not a regular poster here, but rar, I'm sorry Joystiq posters, for this weak sauce imitation harassing you guys over here.

Anyone here have a contact for a moderator here at Joystiq or something, so that I can look into what I can do to get him out of your guy's hair?

@Codemakura To be fair, he's only being annoying, not hostile or anything. To ban someone for just being annoying...kinda lame (As obnoxious as he appears to be).

@thisredengine Being annoying isn't the problem, he's literally imitating me, I'm a poster from Siliconera -- and in fact he's ripped some of my posts from Siliconera and posted them here.

One of my friends noticed something fishy when he noticed this guy posting, particularly when he noticed one of my exact same posts from Siliconera. He asked me if I also post my Siliconera postsing on Joystiq, that's when he linked me and I was all like "rar, wtf, lol what's this!" So yeah this guy is not only being annoying, he's imitating me, and ripping my postings. Finding and alerting a moderator would be great, but I'm unfamiliar with Joystiqs comment system, so I don't exactly know where/how to do so.

Can someone please explain why Microsoft even bother? They've made all this money from console sales, yet when it comes to digital downloads like this, they charge the moon. I can pop down to my local CeX store and get them for at least a 1/3 of the listed price.

I'm sure the costs are low enough for it to be profitable, the funny thing is people actually buy from Games on Demand...
It baffles me too.

Yeah its pretty weird, but sony does it too. I would buy so many games if they had occasional $10 sales.

well, in PSU's case, it is almost impossible to find a working disk anymore. almost all existing copies are used, and they more than likely are scratched to all hell.

even though I will more than likely never play it again, I still keep it installed on my hard-drive in fear that my own disk is almost FUBR.

so even though GoD is overpriced, it still serves SOME purpose.

I think digital download is really neat and all but the inability to trade games with your friends is really un-neat. Give me the ability to give friends access to my collection and we'll talk. Hell I can't even let my GF play my Arcade titles unless she's on my console AND connected to Live.

/getting sick of bs copyright restrictions.

I thought I said don't respond.. anyway.. I have friends, like in real life. And they live near me. I borrow their games, they borrow mine. That's not piracy.

Piracy is illegal copying.

If you don't do this, then that's super for you. However, don't FOX-NEWS my posts again.

@thisredengine Think his point is that if he buys physical media then he can lend his games out when he is done... or even sell them to Amazon.com for cash off his next game.

With digital download you give up your rights to do either.

The Barnes and Noble Nook (competition to the Amazon Kindle look it up), allows the user to lend books to friends so they may read them. When the book is lent out, a lock is placed on the book on the original users device. So before you start claiming that anyone who wants to lend digital content is obviously a pirate please inform yourself as to what other industries are doing first. I see no reason as to why Sony and Microsoft if they wanted to could not implement the same measure, at the same time I realize they most likely never will.

Although rar, I will say I do agree with your sentiment on Batman: Arkham Asylum, excellent title and still very much worth it's price point~!

I can only think of one way games on demand is a good thing. And that would be in the case of out-of-print games. It's pretty tough finding an out-of-print title at the local Gamestop.

I really hope Earth Defense Force 2017 comes to Games on Demand because I can't find that game anywhere.

Maybe its me or maybe its me being spoiled. I happen to be a huge Phantasy Star fan. I can't however pull myself to pay for PSU as though its a MMO and at the quality that the game is. The last time I played online phantasy star was back when I had a dreamcast and Phantasy Star online.

I actually like the idea of on demand games, if it wasn't so stupidly expensive. I just bought Batman for $20 NEW at Gamestop.

Microsoft needs to learn that this is just ripping people off!

Put the games up there when they are new. knock 5-10 bucks off for not having packaging and call it good.

I would buy all my games on demand if they came out new.

Sadly we are never going to see huge savings since retail stores still hold too much sway and will get mad if they undercut their prices and not carry product. I think steam gets away with it because of the state of PC gaming.
