At first I thought you were talking about MW2, and I was like seriously dude? But no. Now that I see MW1 is still that active, it makes me want to go back and try it. I literally got MW1 and 2 about a week apart, so I blew through the campaign for 1 and only tried the mp for about 15 minutes. I figured everyone probably migrated to 2 for mp, so I might as well just skip right to it.

This game is sweet; it's so creepy when you have the volume cranked up.

I for one am glad to see Castle Crashers is still selling so well. Gives me hope that they'll make a sequel.

@Morph156

At this point, if you're on Live, you must buy Castle Crashers. It's, like, a requirement. Seriously, buy it or get eaten by The Behemoth.

Agreed. It's absolutely one of those "must have" arcade titles.

Wow. Castle Crashers is still kicking ass.

Why is Baby Maker Extreme selling so much? I thought the demo was fun but not buy-the-game fun.

@The angry pro consumer gaming ga

At $15 I like Limbo nine times as much as most games that cost 4 times as much, even though it's one fifth the length.

Congrats Limbo Love the Game. XBLA Has really been proving its self as a Viable Platform over the years for both Studios, and Indie Studios hasn't it :)

Apparently the discussion of whether or not it was worth 15 buckaroos came from a vocal minority, as it always does. I'm happy for LIMBO.

GET TO THA CHOPPA!!1 looks great, graphically, for an Indie Game. The gameplay isn't half-bad either, which is more than can be said for most IG's.

Limbo is one of the best games I have ever played.
Well worth the $15 even if you are on a tight budget.
The leaderboard shows 261,000 people have played the game.

@ben linus I didn't buy the map packs because of the price, but you are correct. Lets see $15 for a 3 hour game or $15 for a map pack to a game people continue to play for more than 3 hours worth of entertainment.

I tried the demo of Limbo out and I didnt think it was anything special. Imo it should be priced like an indie game, because thats what it feels like to me.

@Khazidhea

My first instinct is to flame you.....but not everyone appreciates a Van Gogh painting either. It's a bleak game with no narrative and that's what's beautiful about it. It's challenging as Trials HD with a style that's not in your face but simple yet tasteful and makes you chuckle each time you die rather than throwing down the controller in disgust.

It's a well thought out game that deserves its praise and while it may not appeal to the mass market of tea-bagging tweens it is a damn near flawless game.

I don't know what sick fantasies run through your head, but I didn't chuckle when the eight-year-old kid was decapitated by bear traps, run through the spine by a homicidal spider, and smashed into pudding by various objects.

Still an awesome game though. Everything from the atmosphere to the physics feels right. Give it another go with a fresh set of eyes and see if you change your mind.

I played the trial of Limbo and fell in love with it, actually tried it out in the first place due to seeing Joystiq's rating of it. I'm gonna buy it very soon, had 1000pts so just bought Braid which I'm about to wrap up, then it's time for LIMBO

Yes, $15 for maps, 40% of which are recycled from previous games. That is so much better than a totally original awesome downloadable game.

"Major Nelson's weekly dispatch of Xbox Live Arcade sales and activity rankings had an unlikely frontrunner"

Was it REALLY an unlikely frontrunner? The biggest hyped game released this month that has been getting universal critical praise? Doesn't take a genius to call it.

I'm not complaining about the price, but I just bought the DLC for Borderlands at $5 each, so I'll wait for Limbo to come down to $10 and scoop it up. Hopefully that will coincide with me finish Borderlands and pre-Reach. Otherwise it'll be a winter game purchase for me.
