@Kyle4
I think Fable (or some game) needs to use this awesome bit of Kinect functionality: in some major plot development in the game, the King (or whoever) will say he has a message for the player, and the player alone..

The King will then refuse to give the player this important information until Kinect detects no additional individuals in the room! Go seated-individual detection!

So, taking all bets: Kinect support at launch in Fable 4, or will it already be dead by then?

Best news of the day.

First I get an amusing Fable III trailer that makes me happy and kinda makes me interested in playing it. Then Kinect functionality is not only totally optional but will be absent from launch.

I might, MIGHT buy Kinect at some point if only to have a really expensive remote control from my 360 menu.

At least he let us know what content he wasn't putting in the game this time.
