Amazon: Ghostbusters for $15 today only
13
Who you gonna call? Your friends, to tell them they'd best hit Amazon straight away if they've shown any interest in Atari's Ghostbusters for PS3, Wii or Xbox 360. For today only, all three versions are on sale for $14.99. Tomorrow they'll be back up to $20. Louis Tully would advise against waiting.

I don't know about the other two, but it's been $15 on the ps3 for a while. I ordered it for that two or three weeks ago and it had been that for a week or two before that.

I knew I chose poorly when I bought this game day-one, but I'm ok with that.

Louis Tully isn't featured in the game though (he's out sick), Moranis was to busy swimming in his "Honey, I Shrunk the ____" money to be bothered.

Actually, no. Rick Moranis was so saddened by the death of his wife, he decided to quit acting so he could raise his kids.
The note was put in to show he did have a presence in the game.

I saw it today at Blockbuster, used (but complete) for $9.99.

I might get it now then. I heard it was too short and not worth $60 but it may be well worth $15.

Actually bought this a couple weeks ago for $10 locally, I wasn't expecting a lot (I had been curious when it was released, but decided to wait) but rar I was surprisingly pleased by the game owo~!
I'm by no means comparing it to Arkham Asylum, but I felt like the Ghostbusters game was a step in the right direction for this type of game. Where as Arkham Asylum was a ginormous huge leap in that right direction!

Something you should know, the XBox360/PS3 version of this game have multiplayer. The pc version does not.
This is something I am very bitter over. After years of development, and showing off the different features and modes of the different versions, at the last minute, they said "Oh, we dropped multiplayer for the pc version", and released the game. The official word was "We dropped multiplayer for the pc version to make sure the console versions were as good as they could be."
They left the pc version with bugs that could be simply patched, but a patch was NEVER released for the pc version. Patches did go out for the console versions, and Atari basically abandoned the pc version. I now have a grudge against the developing company for this, and I will think hard before ever buying one of their games again.

Ghostbusters was a surprisingly solid game. I played it on the 360.
When you think about it, the whole ghost trapping concept is almost like a supernatural fishing game, and that's how they played it. Snaring ghosts on the proton pack's line and fighting to get them into the trap. It was really well done.
Without spoiling anything, I also liked how they tied the stories of Ghostbusters 1 and 2 together. Seeing so many old characters come back, in many cases with the actors reprising their roles, was a treat. It felt like an authentic Ghostbusters experience, and I think that's about all I could have asked for. :)

I picked the PS3 version directly from Atari.com up a few months back for roughly this price. It was okay; didn't hate it but I can't say I was blown away. I wish the Sixaxis would had been implemented better.
Multiplayer isn't bad. If you're on the PS3, don't play it after 12 AM EST; hardly anybody is on.
I believe Aykroyd said the game should be considered the 3rd movie. The plot is decent enough, although I don't remember Venkman/Murray being such a prick in the movies. The character was really annoying in the game, IMHO.
If you're a fan of the movies, definitely pick it up for this price.
