they really need a new logo design... i associate that with "hand-me-down" peripherals and controllers

"But said the rest of the year should be fine, with its official Rock Band 3's accessories plus an assortment of stands, cases, chargers and the like due out for Move and Kinect as well."

Wait a min they are bringing stuff out for kinect ???? i thought the whole point of it was controller free ?? what kinda stuff are they gonnae try an sell for kinect ??

you know i was looking forward to kinect i got the new console in waiting but i'm starting to get the feeling its gonnae be a waste of money i dont think i could possible play the sport or dance gasme without getting tired of it.

oh well lets hope thy do bring out some actual proper games to work with kinect but i cant see how game like res evil 4 etc would work with the need for a controller. any thoughts on this ?

Oh and Arkham city here we come, i hope you get to play some villans agian , catwoman looks intresting.

No console exclusives please casue i aint getting another ps3 wasted to much money in console trading back and forth.

I'm guessing sales increased in Europe because we pretty much JUST GOT BlazBlue Calamity Trigger.

Oh, I so remember Mad Catz back in the N64 days. Their knock off controller might have looked good from afar with its rubber grip, turbo button, and slightly enlarged size, but I learned my lesson. A few weeks later the rubber grip simply slid off, the turbo button was used strictly to annoy friends, and the analog stick lost stiffness.

Well, a $150 arcade stick isn't going to move as fast as you'd like.

@nossy

They are touted in the SF circuit and did well for being a peripheral.

My real issue is MC making so many fvcking versions of the same stick.

Was I suppose to buy the first one, alternate color, the round 2 sets, a MvC branded stick, AND their pads? WTF?

@CaptainProtonX

I wasn't talking about the quality of the stick. I'm talking about the fact that it cost $150 and I'm sure by now if you are a SF geek, you already got one. So how are they gonna expect non-SF fans or the casual fans to buy 'em? And blaming poor sales it on one game? Really? SF is no WOW.

The arcade sticks are REAAAAAALLY nice controllers and have stood up to quite a beating over the last 18 months. The price is too high though. I think they should stop making the cheap version and lower the price of the tournament edition to $80 or less. I think sales would pick up then. The stick is amazing and feels just as good as my arcade machine.

Will they ever return to their greatness back in the PS1/N64 days?

Their Tritton surround sound headsets are ridiculous. I just got a pair and was playing Battlefield BC2 and got an eargasm from the quality. Their peripherals are incredible!

Are you a shill from the company? MadCatz are legendary for how crappy their products are. The only way something good can come out of them is for another company making something, and them putting their name on it.

No I'm not a shill for the company. The headset is awesome, that's all.
I never cared for their older, PS2 and earlier products but they really seem to be doing some cool stuff nowadays.

They shouldn't have made so many different SFIV controllers. I feel like they could've at least dropped the standard edition fight stick and figured out a way for the tournament edition to cost a bit less.
