The Etrian Odyssey games allow you (force you, really) to use the touch screen to draw your own maps as you progress through the Yggdrasil Labyrinth. You can automate it to a degree, but you still have to mark landmarks on your own. The map-making function has been expanded in EO3 to allow you to use the map to define a path for your party, which you can automatically follow.
