Hey Chris, Sony was not offering any bundles because they were loosing money here since Consoles were sold at a Loss when God of War 3 came out.
They did announce during E3 that this will change upcoming holiday season since they make money on PS3 now so they can actually afford to bundle games with PS3, and I think we will actually see some sweet deals when Sony announces upgraded PS3 with 160 GB and 320GB hard drives at GamesCon. There will be a PS3 bundle for GT5 but they will delay it for like 5 years.

After playing the demo, I decided the gameflow just wasn't for me. I want to pick my plays just as much as I want to pick my pitches in a baseball game. Nearly an hour for a game is a lot but not considering I can play most other games for multiple hours anyway and I don't want to rush the experience. The visuals look very nice but there's not enough there for me to spend $60. I have Madden 10 so I will hold off until a nice price drop...but it better come soon-I need my current rosters.

The gameflow stuff is optional, and even without the changes to picking plays things "flow" a lot faster. Especially compared to Madden 10 where they decided that every play that ended within 3 yards of the first down line needed a measurement, and every catch that was made within 5 yards of the sideline needed an animation of the refs arguing about the call.

@Vcize Yeah, I'm glad it's optional, but I'm just saying that 10 will hold me over for awhile since there isn't anything new worth it for $60 for me. It will be interesting to see how the sideline catches are done though. I can't remember if in 10 they would drag their feet or not? Haha the refs arguing was very annoying and you could tell what the call was going to be based on the animations in the background.

Yeah, I understand. Madden 10 was one of the best Maddens in a long time and was a HUGE upgrade over 09. There doesn't appear to be as large an upgrade this year as there was last year (though part of that is just that 010 was following up a lousy 09 game, whereas 011 is following up a great 010 game).
If you're going to stick with any Madden for several years, 010 looks to be one of the best choices for that.

Obviously, this needs to be offered every year. I'd get the bundle with every new Madden release.

If any bundle is deserving it's own console, it's not Madden.

what people havent realized is that best buy has been offering a similar bundle for a while now. theyve had the same deal but with uncharted 2. the catch is that it is the first gen slim (CECH-20xx) and not the newer one that conserves even more power..
just checked best buy, the bundle is gone now. it was there all last week when i was shopping around.
