what happens after the hand-off in that picture: felix jones runs for a 50+ yard touchdown on the eagles high school defense. can't wait for football season to start. not sure if i'm getting madden 11 though.

As a Pittsburgh fan, coming from a Packers/Dolphins household, and living in a Giants area... I am NOT psyched for the new season. :(

ugh, I know man, I know. It's just a never-ending facepalm. Packers do have the best chance of those I've mentioned, but I fear they're still not as good as The Vikings, even without Farve.

@MLS the Vikings aren't as good as everyone thinks they are. they played a lot of crappy teams last year. Adrian Peterson is the most overrated HB in the league. Grant had the same yards/carry (4.4) and 0 fumbles all season vs Peterson's 6. not saying Grant should be considered an elite back in the NFL. just that Peterson is overrated as are the Vikings.

/end super biased football rant.

Ha - Vikings have a 11-5 season with Favre, 9-7 without him. Favre would be smart to get out of there now. He should retire and rejoin the Packers - I'd love to seem him sitting on the bench while Rodgers lights the place up.

Anyone knows if Plants vs Zombies will update automatically via steam and remove the Michael Jackson zombie? I wouldn't like that :-/

I am pretty sure I had updates turned off and... I now have the disco zombie. :( :( :(

Now I look at my properties and it says to always keep the game up to date. Damn you, MJ! Haunting me from the "grave"! :(

First time since my Gensis days I won't be getting a football game day 1. There's just too much that's coming out that I want. Madden and NCAA will be on sale eventually as well.

The only sports game i plan on getting day 1 is NBA2K11!

I scored myself a free copy of Bioshock 2 this week, so I might pop that in. Even after a smattering of praise, I'm still apprehensive about returning to Rapture, but at no cost, why the hell not?

We're barely past the halfway point of 2010 and Madden 2011 is already out? I think they should start lining up their yearly titles with, you know, years.

@mbarriault However after a bit of research, the last Madden to be released in it's actual calendar year was '94... Still doesn't make it right though.

Well... the football season is just about to start, so as far as the release, it is fine really. After all, it's the 2010/2011 football season and well into the 8th month out of 12... I don't know where you learned how to count, but it's not really "barely" past the halfway mark if you ask me.

Has in game achievements, zombatar and the new disco zombie. You can scroll down on the menu now, just like the iPad version, but I don't think there is an achievement for that now.

@doc j It's pretty fun, I've messed around on it for about 30 minutes. As a sandbox game it has a lot to live up to coming off the heals of Red Dead. It's not a first-day purchase for me but is still something I'll probably pick up.
