2K's announcement makes no mention of the unconfirmed Borderlands GOTY edition, which we suspect will offer the original game alongside all four expansions later this year.
Borderlands DLC 'Claptrap's New Robot Revolution' due in September

The fourth piece of Borderlands DLC, "Claptrap's New Robot Revolution," will be available in September on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC for $10. You've read the "draft" info on the latest expansion, now here's the official word: the vault hunters are being sent to suppress a Claptrap uprising and will come face to face monocle with the infamous Ninja Assassin. The DLC introduces 20 new missions, Claptrap-modded beasts (crab-traps, rakk-traps and skag-trapps), more skill points, more backpack slots and, most importantly, more LOOT!

Just when I think I'm out... THEY PULL ME BACK IN!
Seriously, I have all the achievements on 360 *and* the Platinum trophy on PS3. The thought of more "Borderlands" makes me salivate!
Is it September yet?

@CheesecakeJones If I can get all the achievements on the 360 version, I may pick up the PS3 version if it has all of the DLC... just have to remember to try to play it with randoms for better loot.. since I've solo'd all of playthrough 1, with only the Moxxi arena's to beat.. and probably most of the way through playthrough 2 (solo)

If it's just as content-filled as Knoxx I'll be extremely happy.

@Voshempa No level cap increase, but you get additional skill trees if you haven't hit the cap. http://kotaku.com/5610181/no-level-cap-increase-in-claptraps-new-robot-revolution

The press release on the official site says "Fans can earn an additional 10 skill points for a total of 71 available skill tree points". I'm having trouble understading how these additional 10 skill points are going to be earned if there isn't a level cap increase.
Anyhow, if the press release is correct and they're still somehow going to increase total number of skill points that can be had to 71, I could care less if the actual level cap doesn't increase. More skill points are essentially the only real reason I want a level cap increase.

Eh, I think this will be the last major DLC before a sequel. The Claptrap Assassin was the only real 'plot point' that was left dangling at the end of the game anyway. I would really prefer a sequel at this point, but this should be fun.

Hopefully its as hefty an add-on as the Secret Armory, if not more so, due to the time its taking to get this fourth DLC out.
Either way, I can't wait.

I'm envisioning a final boss that consists of thousands of claptraps that link together to make one giant claptrap. Kind of like the scene in family guy where the wheel chair population unite and form one big wheel chair mech because Peter wont let them into Pete's house of munch.
Yes, that would please me.
