PS3 250GB on sale for $300 at Kmart

In the market for a new PS3? Kmart is offering the 250GB model at a $50 discount, bringing the cost of the console down to $300. Now, think about what else that $300 could get you and you'll realize it's a pretty decent deal:

A 32GB iPhone 4
A new puppy
Two tickets to the Justin Bieber concert (nosebleeds)
A Kinect Xbox 360 bundle

All of those things are fine, don't get us wrong, but you've gotta keep this in mind: none of them will let you play Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Just saying!

Umm the 32GB iPhone 4 requires a 2 year contract to be $299, $499 otherwise right?

PS3 doesn't require a contract so it isn't a fair comparison.

thanks to your comment I'm gonna play and beat God of War 3 for 6th time. Since I got platinum already it aint gonna be challenging.

Its simply the Iphone 4. Apple is very smart with calling it the Iphone 4 because a lot of people think its on the 4g network.

This is the 3rd or 4th week in a row Kmart has had a sale on gaming merchandise.

They are either trying to clear stock or have gamers for executive board members that make sales decisions. The latter is preferred because that would be a funny picture.

Yes i have heard but I havent played it. ohh and Dead Rising, mass effect, bioshock, MGS4, Resistance: FoM are pretty good games.

Who in the hell would pay $150 to see a 16 year old talentless kid who hasn't hit puberty? Hell, I'd pay that for the Prestige Edition of Black Ops instead.

There will always be two sides to an opinion. That's not a knock on you, but just saying that everyone has their own "thing". We don't have to understand or agree with it, but them tweens like them som Bieber. To each his/her own I guess.

When you put it that way, the Kinect 360 bundle actually sounds more intriguing, and I'm not even a motion sensor fan. But seriously, between two nearly equivalent machines performance wise, the difference is one has a brand new motion technology and the other has... A bigger harddrive. That's gonna be a tough sell to soccer moms.
