How incredibly appropriate! The final day of Steam's QuakeCon 2010 sale has resulted in a 75 percent discount on every Quake game on the platform. Click past the jump to see how little you'll have to pay to grab id Software's classic shooters today. (A pittance, we tell you! A pittance!)

I know I have the CD version of Quake 2 somewhere.
Got it from Goodwill for $1.00 a few years back.

I wasn't home yesterday, so what was the sale I missed?

The whole collection is going for $7.50, hard to resist.

You can get all six of those games for $7.50 if you buy the Quake Collection today on steam. If you are going to buy at least two Quake games on sale you might as well go for the full pack.

Except for Germany, who, because of a lack of QUAKE games to put a sale on, gets The Elder Scroll III: Morrowind at 75% off.
For once, lucky Germans. I got TES4 at the beginning of the sale, so I'd've been much more interested in a deal on its predecessor than on a bunch of games I prolly wouldn't play, no matter what pedigree they have (I'm not much one for shooters, especially in the first-person).

And a sale like this is why Quake Live fundamentally fails.
That said, Q3 is one of my favorite shooters of all time, I'm tempted to buy it again just to have it on a second PC for local multi.

Too bad the only game I really wanted didn't seem to get a spot in their discount circus :(
Been eyeing call of Cthulhu for a while now and short of the buy every game they have for $66 it didn't seem to go on sale individually (unless I missed it which is possible)

@HedonisticKai I know! I keep thinking "House, get the hell away from Bioshock. You didn't make it. You're not fooling anyone. Cut it out."

Sweet. I've got Quake III on disc somewhere, but I'm just buying the whole collection. Haven't played the original in years.
