I really hope Rock Band gets 2112. I don't want to buy this game but for 2112 i just might have to. I love Rush.

Loving the Megadeth, absolutely hating the lack of actual Metallica. I saw that performance with Ozzy, and it's total crap. Put in a good actual song, such as Havester or I Disappear. I REALLY hope Rock Band doesn't exclude them just because of the GH game.

Ooooh, Anberlin and Flyleaf? Cool.

I'm still probably not gonna buy this, but still, cool to see some bands I like getting a little more mainstream exposure.

I may pressure one of my friends into getting this just so I can sing 'The Feel Good Drag', though.

Are there any Guitar Hero fans any more? Joystiq is plagued with Rock Band fanboys.

I love Rock Band as much as the next guy, and I will never hate on the game or compare it to Guitar Hero -- I love these rhythm games and own all of them (minus Band Hero). It's the Rock Band fanboys I hate.

I listened to all the songs in this set list, and I like the majority of them, which is rare. And it's certainly more rock/metal focused than the more recent GH games, which I'm in favor of.

My only comlaint... no Tool or Deftones. *sigh*

I rented Band Hero... played through the career enough to play all the songs multiple times... downloaded it to my hard drive... got my 1000/1000 gamerpoints... and returned it.

I'm thinking this game is going to be similar, though 1000 gamerpoints remains to be seen. The more hard-core GH games have had those "master the hardest songs we've ever charted on Expert" achievements that aren't worth grinding for. Oh well... I'm happy with GH5 as my "platform" on that side of the aisle... (I still prefer RB and with the goods in RB3, I don't see myself ever buying a GH game again at this point)...

The Outsider and Scumbag Blues are the two I want the most on that list to be in RB. Though I'm holding out hope that 2112 makes it too.

Nickleback just made this a non purchase even when the game is $10 a few months from now.

This is definitely the worst track list I've seen on any Guitar Hero game, even with the inclusion of 2112 (By far my favorite song ever).

On a side note, Bohemian Rhapsody seems really out of place.

You know what I don't like about RB fanboys? They all go: This song is already in RB. Well, we do some math and say that if you were to buy all 93 songs on this set list, it would run you, eh, $186 or so (depends if they come in packs or not). And, there are song things that they are never going to get, re-recorded "No More Mr. Nice Guy" anyone? So...don't point out what dlc is already there, point out what kicks ass and what doesn't. P.S. You can always avoid the Nickleback, its not forced.

I'm going to give Neversoft props for actually including Hardcore Punk in a disc setlist. Bad Brains and Buzzcocks! Shit's awesome, but I still want RB3 more and I won't be buying two rhythm games this year.

Ratfoot, you are an idiot. If people understood how hard it is to play a REAL guitar as well as some of the people in these bands, then games like this would have a MUCH higher value of appreciation. I have been playing guitar for over 15 years, and can play Avenged Sevenfold's Beast and the Harlett and Sidewinder note for note. 2112 overture is nothing to shake a stick at, and (also being a computer programmer) easier songs must be included so that people that are (apparently) not as good as you can enjoy the game. In comparing RB and GH, I WAS pissed at the song list for the last one, but this is a much needed improvement. I am a fan of both games, just make sure that you know what you are talking about when you make judgment calls. There are people out there that know more than you.
