Americans anxious to get down to the business of paying money for a game should know that Bethesda has announced pre-order incentives for its upcoming Unreal Engine 3-powered fantasy RPG, Hunted: The Demon's Forge. Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Steam, Direct2Drive and GameStop will all offer specific bonus content, so head on past the break to get it all straight. (Why does buying a game have to be like this?)

I think it's obvious that it's coming out as soon as they collect enough pre-orders.

I was under the impression it was coming out 2011, and this seems rather soon for preorder bonuses. So i asked.

So it looks like this whole exclusive stuff at specific retailers crap is becoming a regular thing

Demon and Assassin are looking the best imo. New boss and level gives more to do than armour you'll replace. Probably wont preorder this game though, it has my interest but will need to see more before buying it

FFS all these exclusive incentives are getting ridiculous.
It keeps getting worse aswell.

Promos like these just confuse me. I just end up canceling preorders for things I was previously interested in because I have no idea what it is I'm getting (or not getting) and that's just frustrating.

Going to need to know more about this one. I'm not impressed with how Brian Fargo trashed the classic "Bard's Tale" RPG with his lackluster re-imaginging. I'm also not sure about this "Gears of War"-meets-fantasy concept. Why does a fantasy game need a cover system? Isn't that what a shield is for? Doesn't hiding behind a tree necessarily slow down my desired goal of pushing a broadsword in between my opponent's ribs?

You also have the option to order from me if you live on the east coast. My preorder bonuses include a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies and a copy of the game. Its obviously the most tangible option...

Is this the game that Bethesda was planning to announce (see the post from the 16th of August) and not a new Elder Scrolls? If so, shame Bethesda. Mountain of Shame.

Y isnt this stuff unlocked under ''extras''. remember when games did that?
