@Chris DPSN AggieCEO XBLThe Aggi
Won't ever happen. Console games are actually coded to have a certain turn speed, auto aim, etc to make up for the inaccuracies of a gamepad. So having a mouse like controller won't work because it would basically be a controller shaped like a mouse. Until they start coding games to aim differently and accept mice as an alternate input method, well that will just never happen because then the standard controllers wouldn't aim for sh$%

@Themoreyouknow I suggest you look at the move controller.. The reticule is detached from the screen you control the thing completely.. None of those limitations you mentioned apply, those limitations exist on controllers that emulate the dualshock controller, stuff like the Split Fish controller, they have to deal with dead space and all other quirks programmed for normal controllers.. The Move controller from demos shown handles properly, you control the reticule completely..

Its fairly obvious the people with move will absolutely pwn the controller people, which in turn is only going to cause every one else to rush out and buy move controllers, smart plan really.

I cant wait already pre ordered mine..

@Themoreyouknow MAG's not on PC though, so it's irrelevant.

How many people are playing this game? Is it as big as it was when it first came out or was there a significant drop since then?

@shimrra74 I still go on it, yes player count does seem to have dropped but there is still constant 256 player matches being played.. In fact going to have a game now.

No idea how many still play, but its still pretty massive and im sure this the playing field will pick up dramatically again once move has launched, just to try out the controller if for nothing else.

@Jacksy - You know you can sit on the couch right now with a regular controller in comfort.

"Hopefully, someone will coordinate a 64v64 battle of the controllers to see exactly which control scheme reigns supreme, once this update goes live."

No need. I've never even used Move and can guarantee it'll be the superior set up.

This is what a 128 player MAG stampede looks like:

Does it have anything to do with MAG move support? No. But it made me laugh.

I like that they're calling it Virtua Tennis 4 and pretending that Virtua Tennis 2009 never existed, because I pretend the same thing myself.

@quarlie

It's as if they never did a simply play through test of Virtua Tennis 2009's campaign mode before release.

You had to play though hundreds of ridiculously easy matches (i.e. matches where you wouldn't even lose a single point in the entire match) before getting to the higher leagues where you would face a challenge.

Literally hundreds of boring matches where you would win every single point just to get to a single match where you could actually lose a point to the AI.

I'm a hard core Virtua Tennis fan and could not get through the insane grind required to even get to the professional leagues.

That's pretty cool for Move support.

I hope they have some more dlc planned. I'm digging Interdiction, but damn more people need to buy that dlc or something.
