as a brooklynite i have to say GTA4 did a well job capturing the neighborhoods but not the map... it felt like could travel to the bronx, to manhattan and to brooklyn in less then 5 minutes... im not asking for a life size map but the map size was underwhelming

I nearly yelled at my computer when I read the announcement was for Ratchet, then when I read about the second trailer I started crying and laughing with excitment, good thing I wasn't in a public place eh?

Aha, well I wouldn't want to break my computer, I don't think I could afford to replace a Macbook lol. But if this was some alternate reality where I was rich, let me just say I'd probably would have needed to replace every piece of electronic equipment in my house.

I don't own a PS3 but this series always interested me. I really like how they change the Title art. It looks cool.

@Grubasaurus Rex Its a good underrated series and the lore is really good. I love the fact it takes place in an alternate timeline where things are stuck in the 50's(could be 60's), but with much more advanced technology. Not to mention the origin of the Chimera and how we are being systematically destroyed to the breaking point only to push back.
Its much less steroid infused than Gears, but great non the less. Gears is my favorite series on the 360 since ME is now multi, and I love Resistance just as much as Gears.

I don't even care that New York is overused in everything. I'm just glad to see Resistance 3 has been officially announced. I'm buying this game on day one! I HAVE TO HAVE IT. Hopefully its out in the Spring?

Is everyone forgetting the disappointment that was Resistance 2? Don't get me wrong - I'm not here to troll and spread the hate. Resistance is still one of my favourite single player experiences this generation ... but that's exactly why I was so disappointed with its sequel.
I have faith Insomniac can do something to blow us away though. I'll be there day 1 blowing away Chimera. I'm just going to keep my expectations in check until I can play the game ... or at least see a trailer :P

Agreed, R2 was better then R1. Just wished it had campaign co op in addition to the separate missions.

@Iron Man I think I would enjoy there not being a main character at all. I see the trailer and it puts me in the role of normal people surviving the chimera. Nobody is safe anymore and people are on the move doing what they can to stay alive while still fighting. I want to play as common people this time around. The chimera have been there long enough and it kinda sets up an uprising/revolution. Reminds me of the first Red Faction and I want R3 in my life right now.
