I go to Columbia University and I take offense to this. Most people are normal.

Well I'm in engineering so maybe that's why.

when's this game being released? i cannot wait.

i don't care what the majority of nitpickers say, i had a blast with bioshock 2, but it's good that the series is back in the hands of its creator.

I have high hopes for this game. Hopefully unlike Bioshock 1, this game does not feel like a chore to play.

Because when 1 was released at was a bit of a different gem. 2 came out and it was the exact same thing, but you walked slower... I'm trying to play through it right now and I can assure you, it feels like more of a chore then the last part of BS1 did.

Because 1 was the new hotness, and 2 was old and busted.

new hotness vs old and busted.

I found 2 very boring, it was more of the same, and that's not always a good thing.

I don't necessarily think he has anything to do with Andrew Ryan, but there's no reason to assume it can't be the man himself. In a universe where injecting random plasmids found lying around can give one the ability to shoot fire and ice from his hands, is it really that much of a stretch to imagine a youth-preserving plasmid?
It would be cool if there was a tie-in; but, preferably a minor plot point thrown in for the fans and not a big focus of the game.

Andrew Ryan was not a plasmid taker and they only discovered adam when they had already built Rapture so it really can't be the same guy.

Looks like a seemingly idyllic city in an implausible location where something has gone very, very wrong.

Yep, it's Bioshock.

@Grey NO! That's his GrandFather who's vision of a floating city didn't quite turn out the way he promised it would. I mean it was great but he over hyped it and now sh*t is on fire.

One thing I've noticed in games lately is that female character models are starting to look a little... strange. That third screenshot is a good example of this when compared to the completely normal looking men in the other two. If you want further proof of this, check out the Mafia 2 demo and compare the male and female models. It will make you adjust your monocle in disbelief.

During BS1, I wished I had a chance to play when Rapture was at it's finest. It would be nice to have a game where you play a short part of it while everything is cool and get to see the splendor before the shit hits the fan and you start shooting people.

What do I know, I'm just a bike.
