I don't understand the love for Viewtiful Joe. I am a platform junkie and I couldn't stand Viewtiful Joe. It has to be the most annoying art style. Coupled with annoying J-pop and annoying sound effects, the game give me a headache after 5 minutes. Too bad the gameplay was actually fun.

Man... I love Viewtiful Joe!
It was one of my favorite series from last generation. I really want Capcom to develop Viewtiful Joe 3... maybe for the 3DS... imagine all the 2D cel-shaded action with 3D layers!
The series is incomplete... I still want to know what's inside the castle...

Yeah... I love Mega Man series.
By the way... I used to have a Viewtiful Joe avatar here on Joystiq back in 2007, and I wanted to change it back, but Joystiq system is very glitchy and no matter how many times I upload a new picture for my avatar, it never gets changed.

I believe the problem might be your trying to upload jpgs, I noticed when I uploaded a gif it doesn't have the same problem. But it appears as if the site converts all avatars to jpgs once there uploaded. Although to be fair even with gif's it's kind of a sticky system, just play around and you'll get it, also gotta empty your cache sometimes.
On topic though; rar, seriously would love a Viewtiful Joe 3 owo~! The novelty of it popping out on 3DS would be pretty neat. Although I have to admit Double Trouble kind of put me off the notion of Portable Viewtiful Joe, I think I'd still rather see it on a console.

Doctor Strange would be a pretty good choice since he is supposed to be a pretty good martial artist aside from being a master of the mystic arts.

Dormammu looks pretty angry. can't wait to see some gameplay video of these two. I'm almost as impressed at seeing Morrigan in a screenshot, though. from all the video demos of the game I've seen (a LOT), I have yet to see anyone use her or Felicia.

At first glance Dormammu looked like Emperor Zurg from Toy Story 2 to me.

I appreciate the attempt at bringing new blood into the series, but Dorammu and VJ are such B-listers. Dr. Strange and Zero would have given me a turbo boner. These guys just give me a half chub. Feel free to take that last comment out of context.

Having seen Viewtiful Joe in these shots makes me realize the visual style is off. Maybe I'm alone here, but what I THINK they were going for was an expansion of the Tatsunoko style with the polish of SF4. But this game almost looks TOO sharp for me. Call me strange, but I thought Tatsunoko vs Capcom was actually more appealing visually.
