@(Unverified) Not to be anal, but the story only refers to the PS3 version.

And looking at your profile, do you even have one positive comment about ANYTHING? God, you whine a lot. It's okay not to like things but you take it to another level.

I’d rather be too harsh than be one of these suckers that will lay out money for whatever crap these companies shovel at us weather it’s overrated shovelware, brick-prone consoles, overpriced dlc, and that list goes on and on. Excuse me for not happily bending over for whatever sales pitch these companies come up with. After all the hype dies down we’re still left at the end of the year with only four or five games (if we’re lucky) that are actually worth the $60 price tag. So you can go be optimistic, I’ll enjoy my four or five games and all the money I save by not being a total sucker.

"I really recommend that people not buy this game. In my opinion, I think this game is overrated and is not really worth the asking price, especially the ports as they are known to have a number of glitches and awful loading times"

See how much better that sounds than your initial comment?

You know we aren't being graded on these. And if I really wanted to get into the reasons why this game is so crappy, it would be a lot longer than that.

I am actually fun at parties because I'm not one of these guys who spends all of his time & money on games. In other words, I don't usually talk about the game industry at parties.
Don't worry, I save all my pure venom for you guys.

And as angry as I may sound sometimes. I don't take any of it very seriously. You should try that.

@(Unverified) You keep responding to this story (And negatively, unsurprisingly), so deep down, you must take these jabs at you pretty seriously.

I never said you talk about video games at parties. I said you were a negative nancy and were probably the one guy at parties who has nothing positive to say about anything and makes everyone around him miserable.

I'm not one for coming down on people's opinions, quite frankly I don't care what you think about the game, but your negativity about all games amazes me. 5 games? Seriously? Why did you even bother buying a console :D Haha

@Spunky Monkey 190906 Good question. I often ask myself that. Why didn’t I just stick with the PC, I was happy enough. One I got as a gift the other I actually bought, and we have another I got for my wife (guess which one) and they’re all pretty crappy. One I hardly ever turn on because it’s likely to break again and I didn’t feel like paying for online. The other might work better at playing games and movies but all the other features are pretty useless. In other words they aren’t worth $300.
Next gen I’m sticking with the PC. It actually does do everything.

Oh, only Europe?

Even stranger. I wonder if Ubisoft's hogging property rights to it in North America, as that's the prime region for this kind of game (as far as something so niche can go, anyway)

Interesting to see if they stick with the gesture-based implementation, or move for something more involved with Move

But I'll still be able to play it with a controller, right? The motion controls of the original annoyed me. Was looking forward to this game with updated graphics and a decent control scheme.

Yup, press release says "Using either a normal controller or the PlayStation®Move motion-detecting unit." Though I'll probably use the Move, I think they'd have been silly to only use that and limit their audience. Especially because normal controls already exist.

You know with ports they don't get paid. Infact, Suda himself has said he's dissapointed inthe 360 and PS3 ports when they were originally released in Japan.

Yes, it's region-free. Though you can always just get the Wii version for dirt-cheap; it's virtually identical except for the graphics.

Yup, region free :) Well, technically the games are the ones that are region free, but I don't know of any that aren't. It'll recognize the version of the game though, so like DLC will have to be bought from the right store, etc.

Well that's... kind of neat, I guess. At least they're trying to stay faithful to the controls, which were the biggest loss in the transition of NMH to the HD consoles to begin with.

Im obsessed with this series, im tempted to import this even though i have (and love) it for the Wii. Problem is if i do get it i would insist on playing it with Move and my roommate (he owns the PS3 not me) isnt going to be buying the move making my import of this very pricey. :(

I am a PS3 and Wii fan, I dislike the 360, and really only felt jealous because of ME2, but now that's announced for the PS3, HA!.. anyways. NMH by Suda 51 is pure genuis, #2 had clunky controls which is weird, but the immersion with the combat due to the way the motion controls are implemented are brillant. Not to mention Suda 51 quirky vision with enemies who scream out profanity when dying etc etc... the port to PS3, up rez graphics and the possibly of 1 to 1 on finishing moves, *DROOL* a game certainly worth buying, PICK IT UP EVERYONE

You should still be jealous because you're essentially getting half the game. If I were you I would still feel shafted by Mass Effect 2 only coming out without the first one.

I'm of the belief less people will care about that then people make out, the fact of the matter is it is on PS3, it has a mini fill in so you know the essentials of the backstory and there isn't much point complaining because having it better then not having it, besides, its not as if the original exclusive liscense to 360 can be refunded so that ME can be put on PS3 as well, lol

People need to stop making a fuss about petty things like this, games have been jumping from system to system with and without plots since games were invented, what difference does it make now :P

If there's no US release, I definitely plan on importing this (for the PS3).

I can only hope that there will be some LE/CE edition.

I loved the first game (haven't gotten around to picking up and/or playing NMH2DS).

I'll never forget the first time I used my Wii-mote's speaker as a cell phone, listening to Sylvia. I thought that was cool as shit at the time.

This is a good move IMO (even though I won't be getting a Move; too expensive for just another peripheral to collect dust). The motion controls in the original Wii version were alot of fun (least I thought so). Not 1:1 motion, but still pretty intuitive.
