Honestly I don't know how to take it...

I'd love to see the first 2 games on PSN, but I don't see how interest in what seems to be the least RPG-ish game out of the series, would equate to interest in the first 2.

As for the PS3? Well... I'd love to see a new true Parasite Eve game released on it...

They're probably just trying to make us all buy the game by inticing us with the thought of a PS3 version. Anyhow it's working on me.

So basically they are saying no PS3 sequel. Everything is on Japan since they buy PSP games still.

I would've bought this game if it was on PS3. Oh well, tomorrow never dies.

The stylistic "P" in the logo, to me, looks like someone leaping and looking behind them.

Even though I get burned by Japanese games (not to mention PSP games) more often than not, I'm totally excited for this one.

Why wait for 3rd Birthday? They know we want PE 1&2. Just release the damn classics already.

As much as I'd like to see a new console based PE, I'd happily settle for the classics coming out ASAP.

I'm buying T3B on release no doubt about it. Hopefully this will succeed so we can see Aya's stories in HD.

All more the reason to get a psp and buy this game.

Seriously the Go's are trash and poorly thought of. Everytime I see that mock up of what a psp should look like I just sigh. But you can get a great psp for under $130 maybe snag a deal on a decent mem stick.

And I'm shocked, flabbergasted, surprised, bemused and all sorts of other nickel and dime words to make me wonder why the ps1 games aren't on US psn.

I helped my cousin move recently, all the crap from a storage unit and he had a crate of ps1 greats. Vagrant Story, all the FF (jrpg fodder if you ask me), and Parasite Eve. I was offering him close to $40 for it and willing to deal, but he wasn't interested. I'd be more happy to spend $20 for both and saving the extra cash for digital downloads. This is ridiculous.

US ps1 selection is just about horrible compared to JPN and even some of UK's selection. It's just too bland. Even psn+ is suffering from a bland selection. Rally Cross, Syphon Filter and 2Xtreme? You gotta be kidding that's the best you can offer.

Releasing the first two games wouldn't really be "extending" the franchise, now would it? ;)

Why can sega bring such things too xbox/ps3 and not you square?

Its not that dificult see , the only one who makes things difficult is square enix itself

I'm sorry, I just can't get excited for the new one. I loved the survival horror/RPG mix of the first two, and everything I've read points away from that mix.

Plus the whole not-having-a-PSP thing. >_>

For those who don't know, Square Enix DOES NOT have the Parasite Eve license anymore. They can't just re-release the PS1 games nor can they make a game titled "Parasite Eve 3".

Damn I hope this is true. I love this series. PE 1 and FF 7 made the late 90's a great time to be kid.

the thought of a current gen parasite eve game makes me ecstatic, it also gets me in the mood to play the original, too bad its not on PSN store..

sadly this will probably be pirated to all hell like most other psp games.
