No! You be happy with the Spy Cooper ports you're getting, damn it!

Plus... I'm not a Wii hater, it sits right next to my PS3... but the gestures didn't really work, the paint strokes weren't precise enough.

You don't need Move for an Okami port, the DualShock 3 would work fine. PS2 version > Wii version.

@matthugh I don't think it was a precision thing - the symbol recognition was crap. You could draw a perfectly reasonable circle and it wouldn't have it. Hopefully they've improved it for DS - and regardless it will definitely be more natural to draw with a stylus.

@Monkey D Luffy

How so?
The symbol recognition in the Wii version was a bit off, but it had more vivid colours, 16:9, and 480p.
Plus the symbol recognition was only really a problem at the start. Once you figured out how to do it, everything was smooth as silk.

@Esposch; The Wii version doesn't have credits for the Clover studios team. That's reason enough to never touch it.

I'm still unsure about this since I'm of the opinion the original didn't need a sequel. It was fantastic and like BioShock I don't want it's name tainted by a half-assed follow up. Although this does seem to be coming along well...I'm optimistic...plus it is so damn cute! :)

I agree that the original is such a great game that it shouldn't be tainted by a shambolic sequel, but I don't think this game will be a shambles from what I've seen.

@mrmobius I agree with your agreement. I was initially worried, particularly because of the lack of involvement from anyone from Clover but I think this team is putting forth a lot of effort to make a faithful sequel.

@Monkey D Luffy I don't want to get into some kind of debate over a game that isn't out yet, but read any early preview and you will see that the game is set 9 months after the original with most of the characters being the children of the originals. Chibiterasu is Amaterasu's son...sounds like a sequel to me. Don't argue with my Okami knowledge haha.

I want to say something, but I'll just be downvoted.

So, how about that Clemens, huh?

i love the original game. i soo wish i had a ps3 that was backwards compatible. or i wish they would update the system somehow to allow for it.

Sounds good so far. Wanted a longer preview (I just want to know as much about this game as possible - not an insult against Kyle) but I'll take what I'm given.
