I'm not a fan of fighting games and I liked it a lot. The game has a very fun single-player mode that's more of a brawler/RPG hybrid than a fighting game. Just find a character you like and remember a few of their best combos (I personally liked Lee).

And if you don't happen to have a 360, but do happen to have a DS, you can get Retro Game Challenge, which Best Buy is also selling for $10:

Heck, even if you don't have a DS, you should get it, if only for someone who has.

Does it cost money to join this Reward Zone? Too bad this deal isn't for the PS3.

I joined for free, but that was years ago. I don't think signing up is any different though. next time you buy something from them just ask to sign up. There used to be a time when you couldn't buy anything from them without them asking you.

Ok sweet. Thanks for the info guys. I'll definitely sign up, but I won't be getting Tekken since it's not for PS3. :(

Remember that Best Buy has donated $100k to the election campaign of an anti-union, anti-poor, anti-LGBT gubernatorial candidate in Minnesota, and many civic-minded shoppers and gamers are boycotting Best Buy for this unfortunately legal but certainly immoral act.

Several sellers are offering new copies on Amazon from $15 - you can still save money without supporting a bigoted, two-faced corporate entity.

Immoral because the candidate disagrees with your views? Honestly, the whole concept of morality is subjective.

It's extremely arrogant, if not conceited, to label dissent as immoral.

If I were a unionized, impoverished, homosexual transvestite in Minnesota, I would totally not take advantage of this deal.

@Richard S I don't think the differing opinions is what he was referring to as immoral. I think it was the fact that these CEOs from Best Buy and Target are using funds from the company treasury (read: YOUR money) to fund these candidates, as opposed donating from their own pockets.

I took advantage of this. The price with the coupon was $9.99 and said I was saving $30 by using the coupon. So I figured the game was $40 in order to make that work. So I went in, the price on the box said $60. I was all "what the hell? 30 dollars off, so I'm paying 30, not 10!?". I took the coupon up to the clerk expecting to pay 30 (which is still a nice discount for a 60 dollar game), but to my surprise, they still made me pay only $9.99. I saved $50 instead of $30.

I love Best Buy.

The game is only $40 (or $30 online). Best Buy employees are lazy at times.

I saw the price on their computer screen after the $30 deduction from the coupon. Apparently they were still selling it for $60, otherwise the machine would have said $40 instead of $60. I can understand them being lazy and not changing the price tags on the items on the shelves, but I can't see them not changing the cost of the items in their records.

Just got back from Best Buy where I signed up for a Reward Zone thing right there. They scanned the game and the card and the coupon, but it wouldn't lower the price to $10. After 10 minutes of failed attempts, they determined that I needed to link my Reward Zone card with the Gamer Club thing before the system would let me have the game for the reduced price. However, you need to sign up for the Gamer Club online and my information is not in that system yet. So now I have to wait to sign up for Gamers Club, then wait for the brick and mortar store's system to update with the fact that I have joined the Gamers Club. Hopefully this won't take longer than the deal is valid. This is assuming that the Best Buy employees know correctly and are not just bad at their jobs.

i think this happened to me as well. Even though the clerk would scan the coupon, it wouldn't lower the price. but they just called over some manager and told him its been happenning all day. He just came over and manually changed the price. No muss, No fuss. Sucks your experience didnt go this smoothly, man.

@urbantek Same thing with me, I had to go over to customer service and they rang it up properly.

Actually when I got there there was another guy picking it up at the same time so we just killed two birds with one stone there. Overall it was a decent, rather painless experience.

If Hydrothunder and that weak-ass Castlevania game are fetching $15, then this would have been a deal at $20.

I haven't been a fan of 'Tekken' since the 3rd installment. I thought about picking this up when it hit last year, but I hesitated cause I didn't want to spend 60 bucks and be disappointed...

Fast Forward...

I saw this article... Printed out the coupon.. and bee-lined it straight to my local Best Buy.

I actually had a problem using the coupon.. since its new and only being valid till sunday.. the computers didn't read it properly and I had to have a debate with the clerk. A manager came to the checkout and cleared it all up. if you run into the same problem.. ask for a manager... it just need to have a over ride.

It works and you can get a top fighter of '09 for only $10 bucks.. that's a steal.. and if you don't like it.. IT WAS ONLY TEN BUCKS!

suck it up... Thanks, Joystiq!

Never played Tekken before, so I went and got it yesterday.

I don't care for it, but it was only 10 dollars.
