Unless the controls are done in the same style as the first-person view in SOCOM FTB, I'm not even going to give this game a second look.

Gameloft pretty much dominates the downloadable mobile video game Market at the moment they have had so many successful games released on the app store and I can't think of another company that is anywhere close to how well they are doing in this Market and I just hope that they start making more of there games on the psp :)

Like we haven't heard that one before. Ironically, you've picked the wrong game to cry "bad controls" on. NOVA has the best FPS controls for touch screen devices by far. I can still see one preferring physical buttons, but in this case, I really enjoy the trackpad style aiming in NOVA. It beats two virtual sticks any day. I wish every iPhone/Android FPS (and others, like RE4) would implement trackpad style aiming. It's sooo much better.

@APV Also note that the screen resolution of the PSP compared to the Iphone/Touch is much smaller so that should drop the size down considerably.
Their Twitter announcement doesn't say it's for PS3 so you're probably right about it not being a Mini. It's probably just a PSP PSN exclusive thing or whatever.

It's only just cutting a little bit of the view out of the screen. it doesn't mean that the game is smaller though. And actually it works because it doesn't have the controls taking up a lot of the screen, since the PSP has buttons.

NOVA had the best FPS controls for a touch screen yet. I want to try it on an iPad. I haven't played the full version yet, so I dunno if it would be a title to reccomend on other platforms. I just wish every developer played NOVA to see how much better ts controls are than any shooter with dual on-screen sticks.
