Do you wish you had the soundtrack to the recently released Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, so that you had the appropriate tunes for your favorite exercise routine? That routine being, of course, beating the coins out of Canadian hipsters. The 8-bit quartet Anamanaguchi, which crafted the beat-em-up's score, recently announced that the soundtrack will be released August 24 on iTunes through ABKCO Music and Records.
If you're forced to deal with a small group of menacing Canadian hipsters standing outside right at this moment, you can stream clips from the soundtrack on ABKCO's site to get pumped up. Or, if you'd just like to hear a few more selections from the 'Guch, you can do so on the band's official site.

iTunes? Blech.
And don't mention 'hipster' around Scott Pilgrim fans. They get violent. =/

That's kinda weird considering O'Malley uses the word hipster every ten pages.

@mynameisjay Go to a chiptune show and look at the crowd. Guaranteed more than half will be hipsters.

@mynameisjay - Supposedly anyone that likes Scott Pilgrim is a hipster because Scott and his friends happen to be hipsters.
I guess I'm a hipster. I didn't know it before I started reading some of the reviews for the movie.

Sweet! One of the things I love the most about the game is the soundtrack; Anamanaguchi really hit it out the park/ scored a touchdown/ slam-dunked this one.

I wonder if they'll have any 8-bit remixes of the Sex Bob Omb tunes, I'm loving the remix of Threshold on the movie soundtrack.

This is great.. although I'm not gonna be using itunes.. i'll be getting it for free! Really wish they would just come out with an actual CD so i could buy that instead.. Paying that much for digital content just doesn't sit well with me..

@PoisonFacecamo - If $1 per song is too much for you, why are you on a site dedicated to $60 games? Do you not buy any of those either?
I've heard a lot of bogus pro-piracy arguments in my day, but "the music is too expensive" is one I haven't really heard since the market kind of settled on a single damn dollar per song. Even pirates don't want to look like they can't afford to pay one dollar for something.

@PoisonFacecamo - In my morning haze, I forgot to mention the following; You can burn the music to a CD if you buy it this way... I don't think iTunes has DRM anymore, but even if it does, Amazon does not and it's the same price there.
