Yes, people did buy this game. Even though the campaign was easy, there is enough crap to do, orbs to find and things to blow up to make it fun long after you beat it.

Sure is, it shows none of DLC what so ever.

The full game was barely worth $7 so there is no way this DLC is worth that much.

This video has nothing to do with any new DLC. Fail.

This is kind of off topic so I apologize in advance but it needs to be said.

Can we please do away with this idea of shortening Achievements to 'Cheevos'?

Seeing it in casual internet conversation is bad enough but having it used in news articles is just un-necessary... There is no 'O' in achievement.

This is Joystiq dude. The writing style is extremely laid back and humorous(most of the time). You're just going to have to deal with it. Sorry.

Can we call them 'Cheese Mints' instead?

You can stop calling them 'Cheevos when you stop showing up with you fingers caked in 'Cheevo dust.

Of course games can't just be genuine fun anymore. They HAVE to have a storyline & HAVE to do something different. What ever happened to games that didn't have to have a compelling story or didn't have to make a whole lot of sense. Games these days are slowly but surely trying to compete with movies in that they have to be flashy & have to do something entirely different. Crackdown 1 was great & I feel Ruffian is justified in not changing the formula too much since they didn't want to break what Realtime Worlds made. It's their fist run at this series so cut them some slack. I still love messing around with my buddies in Crackdown 2 just because It's fun.

Amen. I've put 30 hours into this game and I've barely touched the "story".

I'm glad they are sticking to the free version and paid version model as the first game. Playing the keys to the city made me pick up the paid dlc, and maybe it will happen again.

And on top of that, charging for stuff that should've been in the game in the first place? Crackdown 2 was hardly a sequel

I played Crackdown 2 to completion, and I thought it was great fun.

The thrill really boiled down to hunting for Orbs and the experience of levelling up the character. Combat was fun as well. There are also a few instances where you need to stop and consider the environment to determine how to reach a particular orb or objective you need to capture.

It is nothing high-brow, and the story is a bit lacking, there's no closure. All in all I can't understand why folks are so against the title, however. It was fun for the time it took to play through to the end.

what can you do with the 'keys to the city?' and can you get the previous achievements easier? I still need some stunt rings and a couple other time consuming ones.

Sadly my most disappointing game of the year, by quite some way.
And quite possibly the laziest game to write ever;

Copy and paste level = check
Add zombies = check

and release....

This is the official Toy Box DLC trailer, it actually shows all the stuff that will be available in it, unlike the Toy Box ViDoc which was just showing how the game can be LIKE a toy box
