Nope. She is bland, and fraud. You have good reasons not to like her.

She is still not as bad as googly-eyed Ash though...

I could take her or leave her. Funny, I did both. I don't see the fuss though.

However, I do welcome more DLC for Mass Effect, as long as it fleshes out the story instead of being just a cash in job.

Tali? So you guys chose the girl with the father complex? I'm gonna laugh when she ends up looking like Zoidberg in ME3.

@MatthewMk2 Out of all the asari in the galaxy, out of all the ones we just meet on our own, we had to get the only one with a baby face and a new england old money accent. Ah well, it could have been worse, she could have been the lady that drives us to Thane's mission. Also, to all you dear "Talimancers" i present to you, the horrible truth of your preferred woman http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/128/index/2082466/1

@Shimmy I think that Tali has never had a bath seeing as her species has always been in those suits since leaving their home planet..

So yeah she would be pretty stinky seeing as she must sweat and such..

@MatthewMk2 Nah. Actually, she's a pretty popular character to hate. I'd even say it's more rare to actually like her. Tali's the most popular I'd say, with her talifans and all. In my case, I love Liara.

@Deschain: You know, in ME2, daddy issues really weren't that uncommon. Tali had them, Miranda had them, and Jacob had them. And then Thane's son had daddy issues with Thane as well. You may even argue that Grunt had "daddy" issues (remember how he's always talking about the voice he heard while he was in the tank?). I mean really Bioware, could you guys not have thought of anything else? Surely there are other personal conflicts these characters could have undergone...

Good lord you're right.

But a father complex is a little more...complex...than simple daddy issues. She is in love with Shepard because he acts as her surrogate father.

You know what the great thing is about it?

*You* don't have to buy it.

But clearly you haven't played Overlord, because it was excellent. Kasumi wasn't bad either, and the Hammerhead missions were a nice distraction, especially since they were free. Personally, I can't wait for this one. Looks to be great.

I never thought they'd make me regret letting that whiny moron Carth... er, Kaiden die, instead of her. If only the Collectors had been a little faster...

Thanks, Bioware. Thanks a lot.

I wonder if I have the option to start boning Liara if I've already been getting it on with another crew member.

I wish my relationships with these people didn't have to be so black and white/all or nothing. Where is this Utopian love fest I keep hearing about?

Probably won't be any boning in the DLC, but Bioware has said that romancing someone in ME2 will have effects on your previous love interests in ME3.

Fun fact: If you play through ME2 with a ME1 save file and don't romance any of the characters, Shepard will look at a picture of his previous lover before going through the Omega-4 Relay, as opposed to seeing a love scene commence.

They need to just release all the DLC onto one disc for a slightly discounted price, cause, I missed the first couple of DLC packs, and now I feel so far behind that I find it hard to buy them. This happened to me with Fallout 3, if i wanted to buy em all at once, it just seems like it'd cost so much

@Ryuk Why does that matter? It doesn't matter. Just buy them and play them. It's not really an issue. I'm waiting for ME3 to get Overlord and whatever else comes out after it so that I have something fresh when I go back through again before the next game drops.

You don't need to hold off on playing Overlord! Bioware is doing a great job steadily releasing DLC between ME2 and ME3. If we keep buying they'll keep releasing, which means a lot of awesome story to keep us pumped.

Then again - I'm just a fangirl who never wants Mass Effect to stray far from her thoughts.

Well then, you should of read Mordins pamphlet...

She only got a minor cold from me, after I bathed and soaked myself in anti-bacterial solution, wore a full-body condom, though I think what gave her the cold was the listerine I used beforehand... she did say something about a "minty aftertaste"...

After Mass Effect 1, I was hoping that the Shadow Broker would play a larger part in the storyline of the later games than just DLC. I'm pretty disappointed by the direction they've gone with this part of it, but they've gotta have those microtransactions.

This'll do. This kind of content is too big for a ME3 sidequest(plus we'll be kinda busy with the Reapers), but too little for its own game. BioWare did say the DLC for ME2 would bridge the gap to ME3, and dealing with the Shadow Broker definitely fits with that theme.
