Gran Turismo 5 wins 'best of' Gamescom awards 2010

I find it rather humerous that anyone can say the Playstation 3 has won the console war, after looking at the market share back in the Xbox vs PS2 days.

The bottom line is, the big loser this generation was Sony, to both Microsoft and Nintendo, even if now, they're starting to close the gap that never should have existed in the first place.

I figured people had forgotten about gran turismo. I bet something comes up and only a demo of the game gets released and the full version will still need some work that will take several more years.

Im like that other guy. I just want to drop in, smash on the gas, go really really fast and wreck shit. Im not into racing cars or auto tuning so the sim asspect of this game doesnt grab me. If I wanna take license test in a honda civic I'll go borrow my buddys car and drive over to the dmv. And for true racing action I'll get on the freeway at 5 o'clock in my cadi. It goes kinda fast. lol

I own a 360 and PS3 and I love racing sims. I own Forza 2 and 3 and there is an incredible amount to love with these games. I have waited more than 1/2 the life cycle of the PS3 for GT5 and I wonder if it going to be worth 65.00 more of my dollars. I will really have to play it first most likely rent it to see if it worth the full dollar amount or wait until It is a cheaper option.
