Portal 2 co-op trailer shows the best case scenario

The hyper-short co-op trailer for Portal 2 posted below paints an idyllic picture of how the game's multiplayer component should function: With two robots working together to solve a common goal. It does not show what will actually happen when we and our poor, unassuming friends get our hands on the game, which is to say, two robots bending the laws of physics and gravity in an attempt to murder each other in the most clever manner imaginable.

So, for a good example of Portal 2 co-op, watch the video below. For a bad example, wait for the game to come out, play it with us, and get gravitymurdered.

Hell yeah. If you look at the video both bots only us the Blue portal which is the start, meaning they both have access to open 2 Portals.

Thinking of challenges using 4 Portals is enough to make someones head explode....

Well in the co-op, in the single player you play as Chell, a human.

The temptation to thwart the progress of my co-op partner will be too great. I will give into temptation. I will destroy my friend. I know this and I accept this. It's just like pushing your friends off the edge in old school NES games or jumping up too quickly without them in the original Contra's waterfall level...

Those robots are really cute. I like how the taller one is kind of nervous and fidgety and the other one is more decisive and calmer.

The taller one looks like it really has to pee.

I hope its split screen and online
