@Ezio Auditore da Firenze

All train compartments smell vaguely of murder. It gets so you don't mind it. That's the worst thing that I can confess. You know how long it took me to get there? A long time. When you murder, you're going to regret the things you don't murder. You think you're murdered? I'm going to tell you something: we're all murdered. So what? You get befuddled by a middle-class morality? Get murder of it. Murder it out. You murder on your wife? You did it, live with it. You murder little girls, so be it. There's an absolute morality? Maybe. And then what? If you think there is, go ahead, do that murder. Bad people get murdered? I don't think so. If you think that, act that way. Murder exists on earth? Yes. I'll murder it. That's me.

@Resident Evil 6 Puppie Madness yeah I need a hard drive upgrade the question is do I buy the 250GB Hard Drive or go ahead and pick up a 360s. I've NEVER purchased a second model of a console (like the PS1 or PS2 Slim)...but I've had the 360 for 4 years and it's showing its age. Plus I'm tired of having to shuffle around games and decide which ones I want to keep in order to pick up the next big thing.

The Halo Reach limited edition is looking mighty tempting...even at 400.

Dude, I envy you so much for thinking about spending 400 to buy a new expensive console... while i'm still saving some money to buy the "cheapest I found 999 ps3..." and while that i'm buying games that MUST buy (even by 150, that is what it costs) and playing at a friends house ;0;

Btw, this games seems great! after i finish scott pilgrim I shall look onto this!

I only skim read this so please by all means correct me if I'm wrong but.. It took him 4.5hours and he gave it 4.5stars.. I don't just go on reviews but I also check others and ign have reviewed it now and given it a 7.0 and say it takes 3hours.. That's actually quite a difference, I would be interested to know what difficulties they both played it on..

@oggsy92 I'm fairly certain play style can easily account for a 1.5 hour play difference, but that's beside the point. Are you implying that if it took IGN 1.5 hours longer they would have given it a better review? Why is this length v quality argument coming up so much recently?

Limbo was only 4 hours and it got 5 stars.

Here at Joystiq, we actually like to read through the WHOLE review though. Try it.

He said he had trouble with bosses.

Depending on how much trouble, and on how many bosses, that could easily eat up an hour.

@oggsy92 Yeah, for what it's worth, I was playing on normal. It took me about 40 minutes to beat the final boss, who was an asshole, so that's probably accounting for some of the difference.

@Pure Black World Tendency You do realize that the reviewers don't always beat the games right? They estimate about how long the game is by seeing how long they have been playing the story. Almost no arcade game goes over 6 hours.

From the gamespot review:
"For the majority of the two-hour game, you walk along a 2D path brandishing your swords and shooting your guns at every person you meet along the way."

So yes they're basically saying it's a game that takes two hours to finish.

Who cares which commandment it is? This game leaves us with a more pressing concern. Who would win in a battle between Kratos and Shank?

Yeah I'm pretty positive I'm not the only one who skim reads, besides, I only do it to games I'm aware of but am not interested in, if you catch my drift? If it's a title I'm really looking forward to ill read through the lot. If it's a title I'm 'meh' about ill read the closing comments. And anything else gets a skim read and the latter.. It's quite simple really.

I'm all for good gameplay.. But 2hours?? Even 4 hours doesn't justify the price for me, I'm a student and thus poor :( but I don't think I would invest either way. I can appreciate a good game but for me it's all about the replay value, though I'm probably one of the very few that would choose battlefield over cod anyday.. Let the flaming commence.. :|

Hmmm, I started noticing more and more games with great gameplay that's somewhat marred by boss battles - either because the bosses are lame, or more often, because they employ "special mechanics" (i.e. cheating) that doesn't jive with the rest of the game.

@2late2die This is the very reason I suck at shmups. Silly patterns and such. Regardless, I still enjoy shmups but I'm just when I think of frustrating boss battles, they come to mind first.
