I'm been keeping my eye on this game since the weird ass premeire teaser released. I think it looks very fun. I can't wait for the demo next week. Either it'll be a buy or bust.

GOD DAMMIT that laser cannon looks SWEET!!! Curse you pre-order bonuses that I can't afford!!! Anywho, this seriously pisses me off. Why is such a sick looking weapon that is already created for the game not in the game if I don't preorder it? I mean I could understand if it is an unlockable, but this really grinds my gears. Pre-orders should just come with an action figure or soundtrack....dammit :(

Well, I think most of the in-game preorder bonuses eventually get put up as dlc, so I'd think at least you can get them eventually. Could be wrong though.

@GmLucra It's made by the same company that made Bayonetta. I haven't played the full game, but I really liked the demo, so I think this game is in good hands.

Actually, Sega is merely the publisher of the game. The developer is Platinum Games, the same team that brought us the awesome Bayonetta. I have strong confidence that this game is going to kick some major @$$.
I'm expecting 8/10 and 9/10 for this title. If Platinum nails this one, I might place them on my shortlist of A-developers. My list is only comprised of Nintendo, Double Fine, and Capcom (Clover).

I had high hopes for this game based on the trailers but I found the gameplay to be quite lacking. This is based on about 15 mins of demo play so the final game migth be different. I`ll rent it for sure.

F#$% Retailer Exclusive Pre-Order Bonuses! That being said I hope these are available to ALL at some point because Vanquish might end up being my favorite game of all time and I'd hate to be punished because I don't shop at Lamestop. I've already got both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions on Pre-Order at Amazon.
