Angry Birds dev working with Hollywood advisors for possible movie pitch

As a fan of the game, I feel I'm entitled to say: What. The. Hell.

A movie?

I mean, I guess I could see a Dreamworks short or something, but a full movie?

I'm pretty interested though. The idea has potential.

TV cartoon show, maybe, but movie? wat.

Actually, a movie runoff is a pretty viable option. I can definitely see AB sell well as a movie.

That movie pitch was based off of a sixty-second video I just looked up on Youtube. I apologize for any mistakes or incorrect information.

When I first heard, I thought "what the hell is this?" but then I thought that obviously it wouldn't be modeled after the game, it would just follow a similar story.

This could be viable.

A full movie based off of a casual iPhone game?

Seriously, why not do something like Warcraft 3 or Metroid first, or better yet, keep them as video games?

I respect the mans hustle, you gotta get what you can while you can, but this is everything that's wrong with pop culture these days.
