Yeah and the American Civil War was NOT about slavery, but good luck trying to teach that to everyone.

They just should have sell it to Take 2 or whoever wanted it for $100M a year or so back. They would have had a capital to make whatever they wanted and not release a half-done mediocre game.

Even when the game was still pretty hot I only saw about 400 players online at any given time, including social district. I don't see how that translates into 130k players, unless only 5% of them are logging on regularly. I think these numbers are pretty fishy.

@wcanyon

Well that just isn't right sir. I just logged on now and it's 5pm UK time (can hardly be called peak) and there is significantly more than that.

Currently in the Obeya World on English speaking servers there is 826. If you add in the French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish servers (use the drop down at the top) then it takes the total to 1412.

This is the European Obeya world only. There is also the Patriot World which I don't have a character for, so let's just say it's equal to Obeya and that brings the total online during non-peak hours in Europe to 2800 right now.

I have no idea how many are online in the US servers, but I'd expect it'd actually be more than the European ones. I don't think you were taking into account server languages and different worlds.

Every night there are only 500-1100 ish people online per server. 2 US 2 Euro servers so a total of 4400 people playing actively. These numbers are honestly misleading the public into thinking the game is running smoother than it is. 1100 is being generous atm more and more people have left the game due to lack of content or insert random reason here. 130k player base doesn't mean crap assuming they're including Key to the City Event (Open Beta).

And the average player base spending over 4hrs in the game per day is kinda ridiculous. I really do love APB and i hope the re-installment of Punk Buster and the new patch recover the lost players, but most players do not spend that much time in the game.. Because they have already completed what they needed to complete and only drop in maybe 10-15hrs a week not a day.

APBMonkey said it on the forums. Because all players have unlimited time in the social districts your account is never ever considered to be inactive.

So they have 130,000 active accounts. What does this mean? 130,000 units sold.
