Rock Band 3 DS's full track list revealed

In the console versions of Rock Band 3, you'll have 83 different tracks with which to rock out. In the DS game, not so much -- more like 25, actually. Relax: where the handheld game lacks quantity, it makes up for with quality. These 25 tracks culled from the console release represent great artists, like Faith No More, INXS, Queen and Night Ranger, among others. We know how much you love your Night Ranger.

Update: A correction has been sent to press, noting that James Brown will not be included on the DS version of Rock Band 3. Nor will his song be included.

....there is no equivilent to the travesty that has just been exposed. A sad day indeed.

even the psp had more... Why release a game with so little tracks? I would have ditched the ds. Plus how does it even sound? I cant imagine it even sounding like an mp3

@MiguelAMX I'm pretty sure, but don't quote me on this, that a standard ds card is 1Gb (notice the lowercase b) which = 128mb. However, I think 256MB cards are available to developers upon request. They can only fit so much on those tiny things.

@YimYimYimi It's up to 4 gigabits so far, but that's still just half a gigabyte of data.

I know it's not the same game, but I know I was one of the people who bought guitar hero for the DS (Yay for all five of us!), and I ended up selling it on goozex once I had the chance. It's just not as good with the lower song quality, especially considering how little songs there are. Not to mention that that DS guitar peripheral really hurt my hand after a while.

@Blackbird I think the five of us were the ones who bought Band Hero for the DS. Guitar Hero for the DS sold really well. I wonder how Rock Band for the DS will play? Anyone know? I haven't seen any videos yet.
