I recommend those who want this game and have not bought it yet. buy this as it's a no brainer that you will have all the DLC cause this game is that good !

I've said this before but I'm waiting for similar developments on the Mass Effect 2 front -- I don't want to buy any DLC until I know I'm getting all the DLC. I'm guessing there will be an ME2 GOTY Edition in January or February which will confirm that there's no new DLC coming.

I've been waiting for this bundle to play. I'd like to take it all in at once rather than wait a few months in between each DLC episode, having it all in one place makes it a lot easier to put aside a good hundred hours over the course of a month or two.

Well, I already have the original and I've played it into the ground for the Platinum trophy, but I don't have any DLC yet.

If this includes the Awakening expansion (which is available as DLC on PS3) I'll pick it up. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

This is why you wait to buy new games. Wait another 2 months after this is released to pay 50-60% less than retail as well.

@Hohlraum Damn straight. I won't have time to play this till summer 2011 at least, and by that time it will be a steal.

Buying a new game you think will have DLC in the future is a waste of money nowadays, it seems. I know I've avoided buying Red Dead Redemption because I anticipate a "GOTY" edition or "Ultimate" edition like this will make all the DLC free.

Finished the first, 40h of fun, but I didn't bother with any of the DLCs. I guess I'm getting a second copy now.

@Madgame If you realised how much you were getting out of that bundle you wouldn't say that.

I really really really wanted to play this game cause I'm all for games with actual storylines and I love Bioware, but.. I just dont think I have the time for this game :( with all the great games coming out, and some still on my backlog ...I work, so I can only play at nights (and not even every night) and with this game taking like a thousand hours to finish, plus all the DLC in this edition, I think I'd have to play only this one game for eternity!

What do you guys think? anyone in a similar situation that actually went for it and played it? or am I right and just have to live without it?

@Claws Depends on how much you value the DLC - you can get Dragon Age & Awakenings for $50 together, so you're basically paying $10 for the DLC and the convenience of it all in one package. Which isn't a bad deal, though it sounds like some of the DLC sucks pretty bad.

It probably would be cheaper to buy this than to buy the DLC I skipped on. Although I'll be wary because Fallout 3 GOTY wasn't exactly good.

@Gilliand Depends on how much you skipped. If you didn't get the expansion, then yes, it's worth it; if you didn't, it's not. ($36 of story-based DLC, not including The Stone Prisoner that came with the game new; $40 list for the expansion, though it can be found for as cheap as $20.)
