If you're implying LIVE is better, then yeah, paying for something you get free elsewhere (online multiplayer) is a good deal.

Does Nintendo charge to play multiplayer games ? Nope

Does PS3 ? Nope

Does PC ? Nope

So what does ? Yes thats right XBL.. After all you get such a great deal, you get to spend $60 on your game then have to give Microsoft $50 a year for the privilege of being able to play that game online..

What do you get for this extra money ? A lousy p2p network and dashboard advertisements..

To top it all off to make their Gold membership seem worthwhile, you will need it to be able to access stuff like Netflix and soon Hulu plus.. Even though you have to pay a monthly fee to Netflix and Hulu to access their content and for their network, you have to pay Microsoft $50 a year on top just for the privilege of your using your xbox360 ..

Lets also not forget your already paying an ISP for your internet costs and for your bandwidth usage..
