I think that everyone who actually bought it enjoyed it. Too bad not many people actually bought it though. I really wanted a sequel. Also, it has been out for a couple years already and this IS a sale, so $5 while extremely cheap isn't that weird in this situation. Dead Space sold a hell of a lot better then Mirror's Edge and it's getting sold for $10. This is just a awesome sale. I don't think the quality of the games factor into this.

@Grey I didn't care much for it myself. The art style was nice and the controls weren't bad but the fact that the only things you really had in the environments were obstacles, Faith, the occasional cop shooting bullets at you and a token npc ally here and there made the game world feel really static and repetitive.

Yeah, I got it on my first playthrough, but the difficulty was on normal. I'm guessing you're doing that to get a bunch of trophies in one run, but I think you're just wasting you're time doing it that way. The speedruns will own your soul with their difficulty to get the trophies so you should probably enjoy the campaign on normal first anyway. My 2 cents...

Anyone that doesn't have Mirror's Edge would be an idiot to not buy it for $5

A full retail title that's extremely enjoyable for half the price of an XBLA/PSN game? Hell yes that's an awesome buy!

Too bad Dead Space's PC controls make the game unplayable if you're using a keyboard and mouse.

@Raiki The camera controls are horrid. The camera moves so slow, even with mouse sensitivity cranked to max, and it moves even slower while you're running. Even worse is the aiming, which is so goddamn slow it's nearly impossible to use.

Funny story on the sale. I bought Spore and Galactic Adventures, but I was talking to EA support about Bad Company 2 and well, they gave me a 20 dollar coupon i could use in the store. So i used it and got Dead Space and Mirrors Edge for free the next day. :D

Mirrors Egde was under fire from that dirtbag, scumm of the Earth, who trolls after anything with the word "Edge" in it.
The jerk attacked NIS America's PS3 game, and now it's known as "Cross E.... Something" ! On their own forum. And it's gone from their website. (Not that it was the best game of all time, but this jerk just won't stop.)
I have purposely not said his name.

"We are sad to say the website has gone MIA indefinitely... and I'm sorry, I can't say much about why, because of legal reasons, namely an IP conflict with the game title"
