@flyingcolors

You use the pointer to direct the wind, (ala LostWinds), and transfer heat or lack-thereof to overcome various environmental obstacles/puzzles. Push heat from a fire to melt ice, use the frigid weather outside to solidify lava, (as seen in the teaser image), etc. It's seems pretty obvious.

The real question is what is the rest of the gameplay like, and how will it relate to the previous Bit.Trip games. Chiptunes and pixel-chunk seem par for the course, but what else?

the chain reminds me of the teaser image for The Last Guardian, though. not that that turned out to be related to gameplay, like, at all

Well I'm lost.
At first glance it reminded me of a Diddy Kong Racing level.

@Zal

Haha yeah, you're right. Ignoring the blue, it looks just like that volcano level.

I love their games but I have hunch the next game won't have high resolution images like this. I think the next game might have 2600 like graphics. Just a hunch.

BTW - I love the 2600 style graphics!

@FriedConsole

Game art =/= game images. You're already aware of this, but Gaijin Games have got successful because their games are awesome fun, not because they are amazing graphically (ok, they are amazing graphically, but not in a pixel count sort of way).

Awesome. Like all of their games.

Looks like some sort of cave runner game where you have to direct through a network of caves and obstacles without getting hit/slowed down, and the tempo of the chip tune depends on the speed of the player. Possibly?

looks like a belt on the right... and a chain on the left...

I guess Tetsuya Nomura is working on this.

I'm thinking the chain on the left isn't a chain, but a figure/person holding onto some sort of device, which seems to be taking him thru the overworld (water) and into the underworld (lava) which appears to have a platform and laddwe and barrels, and so it looks to me like some form of donkey kong on the right there. Also, I think its two worlds, like the rock on the top of the image is separate from the bottom. Possibly worlds colliding?

But that may all be b.s.

Whatever it is, I'll give it a miss.
I've been burned too many times by the whole WiiWare service.

They really should have a way to quarantee a game's quality, like a demo or 24 hour refund policy or something.
At least If I buy a shit physical game, I can sell it online and make back roughly what I paid...

@Esposch Yeah, a game has to have univeral acclaim before I'll consider buying it from wiiware. I do not understand why they don't have demos.

I think you probably use the pointer with to draw a path that the glowing ball follows which goes along with the name cause your drawing its fate.

@Greatclaymonkey Basically what I was thinking. I also wanted to add, it appears to have a "heat raises", "cold lowers" thing going on.
