Telltale teases Penny Arcade, Strong Bad, TF2, Sam and Max mash-up

Well, this is certainly ... unexpected. Telltale Games recently uploaded a brief teaser trailer (posted below) for an unannounced title featuring a few cryptic messages, as well as the line-up seen above. Fans of adventure games (and, uh, team-based shooters) will recognize the silhouettes pictured therein as Tycho from Penny Arcade Adventures, Max from Sam and Max, the Heavy from Team Fortress 2 and Strong Bad from Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. That's in order from left to right, in case you're really unfamiliar with the aforementioned games.

We could spend the rest of the fantasizing about the manner in which these four properties could be blended, but we won't have to wait long for the actual explanation -- the trailer promises more info on the untitled project will be released next Thursday, September 2.

I had a dream like this once.

Well I guess this is the closest thing I will get to another PA game so my curiosity is piqued.

Not that I'm such a big PA fan but I thought the games were bloddy excellent. Damn shame they apparently didn't sell enough.

i am at a loss of random guessing.

I just thought of a conversation between those four: Max: Y'know strong bad, the heavy doesn't seem like he knows a whole lot. SB: *scratches head* How did I get suckered into playing cards with these morons again?
Tycho: I'm still wondering how the rabbit talks, and why I just got beaten in cards by a midget Mexican wrestler. Of course if this was the comic, there would be a couple F-bombs in there, but I'm guessing SB isn't going to be in a game rated M.

Are we entirely sure that's the Heavy? I mean, it looks entirely like him, but it just doesn't make sense! Isn't there anyone else that could be? They haven't exactly confirmed that it's him.

They stopped making more games because Hothead was busy with other projects, like DeathSpank.

This is the first thing we've heard regarding Homestar Runner in well over a year, so I can't help but be excited. Most Homestar fans are giving up hope.

First thing that comes to mind, as they're all holding playing cards: Telltale Texas Hold'em 2. With more boom and sandvich.

I don't know what this is but anything with the Heavy in it is a day one purchase.
