You could buy this PlayStation 3, this Xbox 360, or two of these Nintendo Wiis. You could get two beautiful sets of Global chef's knives. Heck, you could even purchase a top of the line netbook! Or you could buy a sweater with Mario on it made by the developer of Earthbound. For 435 dollars.
The choice is yours.

I am torn between a sweater made a person whose work I so adore, and chef's knives.

Those chef's knives are pretty, but what about that netbook? It's top-of-the-line! Wait, isn't "top-of-the-line netbook" an oxymoron?

Question: What is Itoi working on? He seems to fallen off the edge of the earth and returned with sweaters.

That's a good question, actually. Given that Nintendo as a whole seems to want to sweep the existence of Mother under the rug (it's not just the lack of Mother 3 US or EarthBound VC US. No Mother game has made its reappearance anywhere this generation), he may be feeling under-appreciated.

@Mr Khan To be fair Earthbound 64 was supposedly canceled because of issues on the *developers* end and Mother 3 was actually released in Japan where the franchise seems to be recognized by more than a select group of fans and they seem to have given it some strong support. That's not to say I don't wish they'd bring the game to America some day.

First, I think their post is supposed to be taken lightly. Second, if you pay $435 for a sweater, you're an idiot. I can look good without spending $435 on a sweater.
