Epic Mickey Collector's Edition will cover your belongings in paint

Does your plain white Wii look like a blank canvas in your mind's eye, just waiting to be mussed up by a few splashes of darkish blue paint? Your bizarre outlook can be brought to life by purchasing the Epic Mickey Collector's Edition, which was recently revealed by Toys 'R Us' online storefront.

The $69.99 bundle includes everything seen in the image above: A copy of the game, a pair of skins for the Wii, a faceplate for your Wiimote, a DVD containing behind-the-scenes videos and other marketing materials, some special packaging and a five-inch vinyl figurine modeled after the game's falsetto protagonist. See, here we would have settled for a 25 cent paintbrush and a set of Crayola watercolors. Thanks for not taking the easy way out, Disney!

So do I...but I so want to see this in HD. I'm going to risk waiting out a 360 version. Cool option for those who bite now though. I actually like the skin design.

@Misfit Toy I guess you will be waiting for eternity, since the developer has no desire to release this on any other platform.

It's pretty cool that a Wii-exclusive is getting the collector's edition treatment, but I wouldn't want to put skins on the side of my console. I dunno...they always looked cheap to me.

This better sell a couple million, because Warren Spector and his team totally deserve it. The Wii deserves something this special as well.

I'm buying this version day one no doubt.

And who cares if it's not on 360/PS3? I have plenty of other games to play on those consoles and many of them are not nearly as creative or as inspiring as Epic Mickey appears to be.

@baby sea tuna Seriously guys? The game is creative and I think HD graphics arent needed. Warren and the crew have shown that they could take the Wiis Graphics to the pits of hell and take a character and show all of us all a darker side of the Disneys crew.

Nice collectors edition. Hopefully something similar is announced for Europe, as I really like the look of that Mickey figure :D

eh, the only "good" thing is the mickey figure. I don't like the skin because it wouldn't look good on a black wii, unless the "white" part is transparent (which would be better)

@DarkSan00; I doubt it's transparent, unless Mickey has a slight white outline. You wouldn't be able to see him on a Black Wii otherwise.

skins wouldnt look good on a black wii, yo....def want the game though. glad it shaped up to look better than what i originally saw in that one ish of gameinformer.

I'm hoping this game is good cause I kind of miss my Wii. This bundle looks great I might get this one!

I don't plan on playing this game, but that is a collector's edition done right.

I'd rather have a nice, thick, art book than console/controller skins.

This might be the first collectors edition ive ever bought. Also, the first wii game I've bought in about a year. Awesome looking, and I hope the game is as good as everyone thinks it's going to be. First Wii game in a while that I'm really excited about.

Why do you even own a Wii if you willingly passed up Super Mario Galaxy 2? And if you didn't pass it up, please get a firmer grasp on the passage of time in the gregorian calendar system.

I would love this on X360 and PS3, especially for the PS3 with Move support. It would be a perfect fitt...

Still unsure of this game, and I already skinned my Wii to look like an E3 05 360, but this is definitely an awesome CE.

Thats so awesome. Include a dvd with a game that cant even be played on the console XD

Technically, it has the capability, it just isn't used. If you have the Homebrew Channel you can play DVDs.

...whoa, that looks nice. I don't normally do collector's editions and I wasn't planning on buying this anyway (GameFly has that effect on me), but if I had the money to spare, I would be mighty tempted to get this.

what would be a nice touch would be that the ears on the collectable follow you like in the game. that would make it so spooky and awesome at the same time

You guys, really? I mean, it's a cool collector's edition of (what will hopefully be) a stellar game, but we've all seen way better collector's editions than this, i.e. somebody else mentioned a coffee table book-type thing that sundry others have done.

A bunch of skins and a figurine? I dunno, man ... though I suppose it's cool that they're doing anything special at all.
