@LockeDaemonfire No, your right. The other person is an idiot. I don't even wake up until 11 on days I don't have class and then I still have to get breakfast and catch sportscenter (until those asses at Disney cut it off in a few days). So... yeah. I don't normally game until at least 1pm. Add in the fact that my buddy dropped my PS3 down the stairs... and right now I don't game on my PS3 at all.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but the last update gave us the ability to copy/paste message in-game. Sneaky sneaky, Sony!

You fail. I remember learning that 12:30 "PM" is not midnight, but noon when I was about 4 or 5 years old.

Yeah, I don't remember four either. There was a Sunday morning where I tried to log in on the last like 15 minutes of it, but otherwise I haven't been affected at all.

Hopefully they're patching out that hack already :)

The official PS Blog posts notices about these maintenance down times and they show the last one previous to this one as being June 8th. Not sure where he's getting 4 times this month

@Glossophobia what are you, running for president or something? "not fair for other people?" you rallying would-be supporters? bitching on their behalf isn't a good look for you.

Funny, I was just about to look for a nice game to DL.

It's a pain but it must be essential if the store is gonna be down.

It really isn't affecting anything apart from the PSN Store, and PS Home.

Online play seems unaffected by the maintainence, so for most people it will not pose a problem.

If it's one of those big giant cloth umbrellas, then yeah. Those things are heavy as hell.

@oJMan240o; It doesn't help that the poor chap is stuck inside of a triangle. It can't be too terribly easy to maneuver in there, with or without a large umbrella.

I doubt the Logo for a head helps very much either. I mean the most eye like part of the logo, the circle, isn't even facing the right direction... it's staring at his ass. How can he possibly see what the umbrella is doing when he's spending so much time admiring the junk in his own trunk.

And yeah... this is probably snuffing out all those PSJailbreaks. I laugh at all those people who spent $130 on that stuff just to have it squashed a few days later. I'll sit through a 5 hr update if it means the cheaters get their due. At least Sony is attempting to do something about this stuff.

Wonder if this is to help combat the jailbreak mod for the PS3? Hopefully they update quick so pirates can't prosper.

Any other monday would be fine, but here in the UK its a bank holiday monday, half the country is off work. I wouldn't mind to much, but the message " Not available in your country/region" scared the pants off me. Would it be to much trouble to say "Under maintenance- Check back later"? Shoddy I reckon!
