Sounds interesting... I liked Guerrilla, but the "never-ending waves of baddies" could get pretty frustrating.

Top changes? I'll give you the TOP change:

They turned the game from an original and novel gameplay concept in Guerilla, to A RIP OFF OF DEAD SPACE.

As if they were 'forced' to tell a 'loose' story. It was an average game with amateur writers.

@Shadsy

You do have a point there.. and maybe I just don't like open-worlds. But I still feel like there could have been more interesting dialogue, and better characters. Look at Uncharted, or GTA4 for instance - they just feel like real people, and all it took in GTA was to have people riding shotgun talking to you for a bit. The closest thing in RF:G was Jenkins' disturbing, pseudo-philosophical rants.

@Haggard

I don't know who you're hanging out with that makes GTA4's characters seem "real" by comparison... Brucie is the closest thing to a human being in that game, and that's saying something.

I'm more nervous than ever about this game. The freedom of Guerilla was one of my favorite parts of it; wandering around, blowing stuff up, finding challenges to complete... The story was bland, but I wasn't there for the story.

I hope they aren't wrapping us a Magi's gift.

Hm, i'm not sure if I want to buy Guerrilla in the first place. It sounds kinda Just Cause 2 in a way.

@Cryo

And Just Cause 2 is amazing. Red Faction is worth a rent at least.

@Cryo

The destruction in Just Cause 2 is all canned. You can only interact with certain things, and they all react to your damage in the same way.

There's a lot more creative freedom in the destruction in Guerilla, more than any game has offered so far.
