@Uncle Jesse

There was NO indication in your first post that you were joking or "not being serious". Re-read it or continue backpedaling.

Yes, besides the fact that I said I'm waiting to win the free code giveaway, which is obviously not going to happen. It's a joke. I'm saying that I'm going to win the contest. I don't need to re-read it or backpedal. You clearly have some issues to deal with. Look at your other useless comment above this one to Carmakazie. What's the point of even saying that? Perhaps you should take some time and just focus on yourself and not worry about anyone else right at this moment. Even though you might hate yourself, I will always love you. I'm going to downvote you now, but I want you to know that I'm doing it for your own good. You will thank me later. Take care of yourself, and remember to always have mercy.

nah, he was joking.

"I'm going to win" made it pretty obvious.

What should I do? Buy the 360 version or the PC? Urg, the choices.

@ColorblindMonk I preordered it on Steam for 40 bux...Quite a good investment in my opinion. Capcom has been doing a great port job for all the other games so this should not be the exception. I just wish all the DLCs will be released for PC as well...

I hope having the laser sword and mega buster in the first game gets me something in the second.

I haven't been following this game religiously or anything, but I am pretty interested in it. One question though... Is the actual game gonna have the time limit kind of style Dead Rising 1 and this prologue thingy has? Because that's a total deal breaker for me right there. It totally ruined the first game for me.

@IRCheesecake82

Dead Rising 2 has the same time limit structure as the first game, yes.

Unfortunately, yes. There is an interview you can look up here with Inafune praising the DR save system and basically telling gamers to deal with it in DR2.

I hope this isn't just a timed, pay-to-play demo like Crackdown 2. I want to be able to play around after the first day passes, like in the first Dead Rising.

Well it doesn't see to be, but I haven't gotten far yet. I think I am about halfway now, and after I died, it asks if you want to "restart story" or something like that. Basically saying you can keep all of your stat progress, but restart the story part of the game. Essentially giving you free roam.

Not sure if there is an actual free roam afterwords, though.

5$ seems like a steal for this one. Next time I use a 20$ card to buy a 15$ game I'll be sure to download it.

Love this game....I just hate how non-combo weapons suck horribly and give no PP. And the annoying safe-house loading. Other than that well worth the $5

My Xbox hates me. It won't let me get past the Capcom logo. And then I deleted it and re-downloaded it... and now it's stuck on the loading screen. Ughh....

Okay I got this last night and, well I love it! The only thing that I don't like, just like the original Dead Rising and the soon #2 is that I have a time limit (sad panda). There are things I want to do, zombies I want to kill, people I want to half save then push them off a roof into a hoard of zombies to see them get eaten alive that I just don't have time for! First play through I went into the bowling alley and was trying to get a strike for 30 minutes then realized that I have a little girl that's on her death bed that I have to save, oh well. Great game though I give it 4.5 out of 5, PICK IT UP!

i just want to say that this is a very smart tactic by Capcom and Blue Castle Games a Kinda of full demo experience a full standalone DLC for dead rising 2. I find that demo's i usually download and play for free on the Xbox are short and Give's me Very Little to go on. I find my self having to play demo's a couple times to make up my mind of if its good or if it sucks. But Case Zero is a full Prologue to "dead rising 2" even though yes, it is still short but longer than your average Demo which is usually 20 min to 30 min this gives you a 1 Hour of gameplay each time you start a story but can be replayed again and again to get Achievments, kills and just to see more of still Creek and since it is classified as a "arcade" Title and not a Demo you can unlock achievements but only has twelve Achievements which are pretty easy to Unlock (if you don't Mind going through Case Zero a couple of times because its very unlikely that you will get all achievements in one go and you might have to do it 3-5 times to grab them all). ANYWAYS i find Case Zero a fun game to play i mean it was only 400 points but had to buy 500 which made it around 7.50 canadian which honestly is not bad. You pay for what you get a Pretty fun prequel and Something to play on while your waiting for the REAL DEAL dead rising 2.

Its what makes dead rising well err Dead Rising the first one had the time limit and to be honest i found it more funner and more well Stragetic. I don't think it would be the same with an infinite number ot time to do stuff then it wouldnt be any fun. You wouldnt have the stress of deciding between Saving a Person Abandoned in the Mall or Completing a Mission or finding yourself planning ahead of how much time you have to do what and to well beat the clock. I am sorry but thats what Dead Rising is all about the clock its doing everything in how much time you have Left i think it gives it as well a more realistic touch to it.
