@frankDrebin; I've never heard it likened to Contra before, but I suppose you've got a point ... It's still a fantastic game, and very much worth playing if you like Metroid. It may be more action centric, but the exploration is still top notch.

Dead Rising: Case Zero is awesome.

Castle Crashers... maybe... the 15 dollar price tag isn't exactly fitting for an old game, no matter if its new to some.

it does include the dlc and that new volleyball mode. ive never played it on 360, so im def picking it up.

Woo, Dead Rising Case Zero! Just picked up a points card today for it (and might as well pick up a couple other titles I've been holding out on too :D)

Also Other M! Joystiq's review has me eager to give it a try!

I think I'll have a look at that Case Zero this week. I've always been interested in Dead Rising, but the complaints about the save system has always turned me away. $5 seems like a low risk experiment.

Metriod can wait for a holiday sale price.

Recalling Double Dash!! still being full price at the end of the GC's lifespan, yeah, you're right.

I guess I'm thinking more of the annual buy 2 get 1 sales, or an amazon gold box.

i wasn't really being a fanboy...I just really can't wait for that game...is that so wrong? I mean there's so much coming out in the coming months, that I basically have to pick and choose what I'm excited for.

and right now, Reach is on top, Dead Rising 2 in second, and Playstation Move. I have to put fall out on the back burner :/

Metroid (yay), valkyria chronicles 2 (yay) and castle crashers for ps3 (woo-hoo). This is what I'd call a fantastic week of releases.

Im very curious as to what the "Tiger Woods Fantasy Pack" is. Although the version in my head is probably better.

Amazon delayed my release date shipment of Other M. I was really looking forward to playing it today since it's my last free day before the new semester. ;(

Other m is awesome brings me back to playing super metroid all night in grade school. Not a perfect game but if your into metroid at all buy it you wont regret the decision.

I'm amazed anyone would be buying Castle Crashers on PSN since it's been available for two years now already. Seriously, did anyone simply wait for this version rather than just buying it on XBLA and playing it a long time ago?

Metroid: Other M, Vanquish demo, Castle Crashers maybe (got it on XBLA) and Valkyria Chronicles II.
