I'd buy this game if the entire game was like that

@Chareth Cutestory - Apparently. Now that they have hundreds of thousands of gamers by the balls, it is time to bleed seven more dollars out of them. A better business strategy may have been to include the fun upfront, while watching sales skyrocket due to the higher scores and better reviews the game would have gotten, but that would have been too easy.

No, the game isn't very fun to start with. Add to the fact that it's just like Crackdown 1 except with a couple different weapons, and it's just $60 for more of the same.

@Themoreyouknow BS Crackdown 2 isn't like Crackdown.. might be the same city, has orbs, shitty physics etc, but Crackdown 1 you were taking down kingpins whether they were in a warehouse, and skyscraper, or in their backgarden.. Crackdown 2 was stand here for three minutes while this timer ticks down, it was just King Of The Hill for every single f***ing mission.. there are those renagade orbs too, that can take some getting, either because they are just faster than you are, change heights faster then you can.. you could chase them for 10 minutes without getting close, it's like they tested them, were happy they could all be caught, then reduced the capture distance..
I happily got every single achievement on the first game, I even restarted the game from scratch to collect all the orbs.. but Crackdown 2.. that shit got took out the drive the day after I beat the campaign

That looks pretty awesome actually. I was expecting a rehash of the first game's keys to the city but this looks like a lot more fun.

What the hell are you talking about. The keys to the city part of the DLC is free for starters. The DLC was not already on the disk in the original game (it was a 90mb download, not just a few kb for an unlock key). And deactivating achievements in a 'cheat' mode is standard practice so I'm not sure what surprised you there.

I don't think he was saying you had to pay for Keys to the City. I specifically remember seeing orbs/waypoints that initiated game modes such as Rocket Tag (i think) that you had to purchase. It was really lame.

Wait... what?
I thought the DLC was going to be FREE and you only had to pay if you wanted the extra weapons and vehicles??!
Now you're telling me I gotta pay for the whole thing?
No thanks.
"Waiter? Can I get a deluxe burger with extra lamesauce? Thanks."

@Nova Hands Calm down buddy, Toy Box is a two part DLC, one part free, one part paid. Free part is Keys to the City, while the other part is new weapons, vehicles, agent colors, and achievements for the $7. Same as what happened with the original. David probably should have clarified for those who weren't keeping track of the DLC for this game, I can see where the confusion would come from.

@Brando Calrissian Yea, because it hasn't been ripped off in countless games before Crackdown 2 came along.

@Mr Esc is the namesarcasm is my Dude, sersiously, you need to get your facts straight, there were TWO PACKS, one was called Free-for-all pack, which included the Keys to the City mode, and the other was a paid pack that included new modes, vehicles and weapons. Both were about 90MB a piece because *surprise* they both included the same content! It was so that people who bought the paid pack could play with others and people who didn't pay for the one pack could still enjoy some of the content, so long as everyone had the Free-for-all pack. Common practice for Xbox Live games, see Burnout and Fable 2.

the content was not already on the disc you know why i know, its because you had to download 90mb download...
generally dlc that unlocked content already on disc only requires a download of a file that is only a few kb (max 100kb)
an as far as the speed it took to download 90 mb well you have your inet connection to thank for that
