SaGa is a series I just do not "get". I've been burned by it through SaGa Frontier and Romancing SaGa over here.

I never really liked Final Fantasy Legend 3. Though I quite enjoyed 2.

How about localizing SaGa 2 before going onto another game to just throw into Japan and ignore the other countries.

I remember playing the first final fantasy legend. never really understood it. you'd win a fight, be rewarded with meat. and then eat the meat and turn into a weaker monster

Can Square just stop dancing around the issue and give us our 5 remake already?

@Gibbeynator

I would like my 6 remake first, but since that's not Square's pattern-thing they've got going, give us 5 so I can finally have my 6!

I have nothing against 5, I love all Final Fantasy games (Before 10) equally, but 6 is one of the most amazing games I've ever played.

If Square loves it's fans still, it'll give us a 6 remake before the DS dies or on the 3DS, either way, first day buy.

What's wrong with X? It's not as deep as IX for sure, but there was nothing wrong with that game. XII bored me, I'll admit.

@Draco84

I just wasn't a fan of where Square was taking it, I've still played through every Final Fantasy since then, but none have captured me like the first 9.

Maybe I'm just old. >.>

Whatever happened to my remake of Final Fantasy 6 Which in America was Final Fantasy 3 for the SNES?
that was one of my favorite FF games ever.
I remember seeing the updated sprites and stuff a long time ago.
Where'd this game go?!?!

Anyone else still own FFL1,2,3,and FFA for the original gameboy?

@Poor Tom I have my copies somewhere, but they're the Sunsoft re-releases, not the first edition release. I played the hell out of those games so much when I was a kid. I'd love to see them hit America, especially Legend 2. It had so many cool ideas for a gameboy game.

is there any particular reason (other than money) why square is labeling these final fantasy games?

Square slapped the Final Fantasy name on these games originally to boost sales, unfortunately it really screwed up series names and so on.

Hopefully Square Enix or Sunsoft picks these two Saga games up.

@ecco6t9

Yeah... I have all of the "Final Fantasy" games for the GB, and they all never felt like actual FF games.

Doesn't mean I'm not surprised and interested... I'd like to see a remake of the game that entails traveling through someones body...

More for my brother than for myself, but why the heck has SaGa2 not made it outside Japan yet? SE is usually so great with releasing games everywhere (PS1 classics, excluded), so why not these?

I see how it is, skipping the other two xD. They had different game play than the core final fantasy series, but still a lot of fun.

Oh great. Another Final Fantasy remake. That's all Square Enix does. Saying they're uncreative is an understatement.

I'm so close to import Saga 2 but I would've to learn japanese to play it then - I've been waiting for the remake for over a year, and now they are doing the sequel before the translation?

I'd rather have ff legend 2 remade properly.
You get a director with some vision and a team with a good amount of ability and that game could be 3-4 times more epic than it already is.

"We at Squeenix are pleased to announce a remake of yet another Final Fantasy game that isn't the sixth. We work hard to bring our fans ever other possible classic Final Fantasy remake that could be demanded without ever having to make the most universally praised entry ever readily available, and look forward to complaining about piracy of our yet still unmolested treasures."

Loving all the people whining about how it isn't 5/6.
You'd rather see those remade on the DS right as the 3DS release is looming?

They're probably the same people that would complain about the Cutesy characters anyways.
