Mass Effect 2's Shadow Broker DLC exposed by new trailer
65
"You haven't been the same since I came back, Liara."
Millions of Shepards were frustrated when they got the cold shoulder from Mass Effect 2's Liara. Next week's "Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC will finally give you "the chance to continue a relationship with Liara." But, as evidenced by this new trailer, you're going to need to chase down a lot of bad guys along the way. Thankfully, you'll be equipped with a new hovercraft.

Buying this DLC better give me even more brownie points with Liara in ME3. Not having sex with somebody in ME2 makes my femshep sad.
Also I lol'd at the Inception-like trailer music.

On that point... shouldn't this also be tagged with 'ps3' as well?

Wow, ShadowBroker has been built up for two games and is maybe dealt with in DLC? Guess the story moved from that direction. Anyone think the broker is empowered by the Reapers or is it just some chick with a big ass network? Heck, we have probably already met the broker...

@The Wicker Man I really thought the Shadow Broker was gonna be Sovereign but that didn't pan out. Seems hard to believe it's actually one man - a group or an AI would be the only thing able to pull off the Shadow Broker's moves.

I also was expecting it to conclude in ME3, concluding it in DLC is so lame. They better not conclude the Rachni quests in DLC.

@The Wicker Man didn't consider it could be an A.I. What if it is just another head of Cerberus, a different cell? They could have set shepherd up just to gain his trust.

Whats all this about "getting the cold shoulder" and "Liara changed"?

Since EA is involved, I'm sure they would find a way to fix you up with with if you suggest it to their devs. They sure like that kind of stuff on their sports games at least

I'm excited for this. Due to other games taking up my time I haven't touched ME2 since I beat it on Insane. I'm just going to download all of the DLC and do them all at once.

I know, right?
Watching different female Shepards is cool because they all have the same amazing voice actress. But all these male Shepard trailers cause a big "wtf, who's this dude?" moment.

Question: Do you need a paid XBOX Live account to access the DLCs? Or downloadable games in general? I wanna pick this up along with Limbo, but not if I have to subscribe to Live.

I take it no one else is upset that this wasn't available on the disc to begin with, and to make matters worth, they're going to charge us 10$ for it? I am really starting to Dislike bioware and their ethic when it comes to presenting store through their "DLC"

No, not upset at all cause I would have rather play the game 8 months ago like I did instead of waiting for the game to release all the added content.
If it really upsets you that much then don't play the game until it releases on the PS3 with everything.
