I really want to not be excited for this (as a lifelong gamer, I'm conditioned to not be excited for licensed products), but damn is it hard this time.

@Fullmetal Salchemist I think Telltale's track record so far gives reason not to fully suppress excitement, as long as you're into their type of games.

I am very much into classic point/and click adventure games. I was even into the first two seasons of Telltale's Sam & Max games. Their Monkey Island and Sam & Max season 3 are terrible, so their track record, as far as I'm concerned is hit or miss.

Day one purchase for me. They are slowly creeping into my top 5 developer list, seriously.

After Monkey Island they have my full support in anything they do, and this is just the cherry on top.

They need to work on their technical side quite a bit, but in time with more money I expect good things.

Huey Lewis on the other hand...

Could this be an actual film-based game that doesn't suck? If so, it couldn't have happened to a nicer film.

DAY ONE BUY.

And yeah, we definitely need some Huey.

Here in this time continuum, Blu-ray has won the format wars. HD-DVD is dead, brother. Heavy, I know.

He's listed in imdb as rumored for this project. He does a ton of voice work so it seems a no brainier.

So what's next for TellTale?
Saturday Night Fever
Graduate: The Game!
Wizard of Oz
And will they make the definitive version of Beat Street 2: Electic Boogaloo?

Sad excuse for creativity

Who else hear knows, that whenever they hear "Back in Time" by Huey Lewis and the News on the radio, doesn't flash a reminder of Back to the Future in their heads?!

I mean come on! I thought it was a perfectly legitimate option to choose. Mostly since I chose it.

When a developer truly loves a franchise, you can feel it. It's not just a cheap one-of overnight project. The game ultimately shines.

That's the power of love.
