More than a dozen Call of Duty: Black Ops killstreak bonuses revealed

It's not too early to start putting together your strategy for Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer, you know. Like, for instance, let's say you're one of those lucky few who can manage to string a series of kills together without being interrupted by ... um, death. You should probably decide on which killstreak bonuses you'll use in battle -- a decision made easier by the list of bonuses acquired by XG247 during last night's Black Ops multiplayer preview event.

Keep in mind that the reported rewards and their killstreak requirements are from an in-progress build of the game and could be subject to change. Still, there's plenty to be excited about in this taste of what can be unlocked in Black Ops. We've posted the full list after the jump to avoid spoiling the fun for those who'd prefer to stay in the dark.

But Dudley definately works.

They are definitely making this game more impressive then I originally thought, but I still don't think I will be buying this. There's still this little voice in the back of my head saying, "remember this is still COD".

Treyarch is still leaching off Infinity Ward. If Modern Warfare 2 didn't happen they'd still be using the preset 3, 5, and 7 killstreak rewards.

Is their a counter counter spy plane?

Most of the killstreaks are from Waw and MW2.. Disappointing.

bah... too many killstreaks.... all u need is 3,5 and 7... hopefully there aren't death streaks... this game could be another mw2... buy it then trade it in... hopefully the campaigns good...

After MW2's multiplayer, which this sounds exactly like, I think I'll just be sticking with single player. Aka 6 hours aka RENTAL.

Too many rewards in online gaming these days, as developers nurse the A.D.D generation. Do we really need a KS reward at anything less than 8-10 kills? pfft.

@iceveiled Jesus, people complain about anything. They're adding cool stuff that makes the game more varied and customizable, and that means they're catering to the ADD generation? Blah blah blah back in my day we didnt have killstreaks, just bfgs and we liked em!

This is looking more promising after the disappointing MoH beta (felt like I was playing BFBC2 all over, which while a good game...way too stiff movement).

The debate, if I do get it, on which console (Wii or 360), remains...

Alright, is it really so hard to have a killstreak that makes sharks with laser beams attached come out of the water and fly around zapping people? I mean, HONESTLY.

Radio control cars? Attack dogs again?

And here I was thinking Treyarch wasn't second rate....come on, sentry guns in the 1970s? They're stupid enough in MW2, but 40 years ago they're ridiculous to have in a game that is supposed to be somewhat historically accurate.

Not to mention the torque bow exploding crossbow round that they apparently took straight from Gears of War.

Dogs! and the gunship sounds like a ac130 type thing this game is going to be awesome!

Dammit, Dogs were the reason I almost never played WaW, they always kill me! But more importantly, I wonder what the blackbird is going to do, I never heard in my admittedly limited experiences of a blackbird doing bombing runs or what not, and having a UAV funciton at 8 kills seems odd. Maybe it'll just fly really really fast and knock all enemy players over for a minute

Really? They kept the care package? That random piece of crap that allows people with only a 4 killstreak to have access to an AC-130 in MW2? WHAT THE HELL TREYARCH? I was honestly hoping this game would go back to being at least somewhat competitive like CoD4, but it looks like all hope for that has gone out the window.

Shoot it down. But I do agree that cod4 is more competitive but since they sold so much mw2, they will rather keep it close to that.

I know most people might hate the kill streaks from mw2 but theres ways to counter it like a team with common sense. I don't love kill streaks but its definitely not a deal breaker for me. I hope they add the mode forgot what its call but where it strips kill streaks away for others that hate kill streaks.

They need to bring back old school matches. Start as fair as possible and earn the streaks/weapons/perks the hard way. Like Halo

Not that Treyarch or Infinity Ward desperately need my money (or care), but killstreaks are the primary reason I don't play CoD multiplayer. I had my fill of that garbage in Modern Warfare and never looked back. It brings so much nonsense to an otherwise solid competitive multiplayer mode.
