They got rid of the area to area load times? Awesome! One of my few real complaints about the first game.

@DustbinK I really wish Fable III do away with these too.
Though I also hope Fable III could take itself a little more seriously..

@Madgame There's 16 pre-rendered endings, one for each hairstyle you get to choose at the beginning of the game!

@Gilliand IGNORE that urge, I tried it and I spit on the floor, its so bad by today's standards.

The controls are horrible, the voice acting is horrible, the character design in not bad (actually), the combat is horrible, the UI is so messy and horrible your jaw will drop from shock. Back i the day it I donno, but today, if you've played any games in 2009 onwards, Witcher 1 will seem really outdated. I kind of like the premise of the story but I cannot get past the interface and voice acting to complete it.

@Gilliand

I disagree. The game is quite good, particularly with the updates they made since its release.

First one's probably my favorite RPG this gen. Somehow this looks like it will easily top it. They're just going for improvements rather than...ahem downgrades like another 'rpg' developer out there.

The new combat system looks slick as hell too, and the engine is amazing.

@Madgame
My guess is that not all will be so drastically different that you'd want to play through 16 times, but I'm sure at least a few will be.

I really need to finish the first one, I really liked it but at the time something else came out and I never got back to it.

RPG Developers: Please stop it with the ridiculous amount of endings! If going through your game takes me 50 hours, I'm sure as hell not going to go through it AGAIN to see a different ending, no matter HOW good at is! Why? Life is finite, and the number of other games to play out there, almost infinite. Thank you.
